Most of them well-educated or well-mannered. Being well-educated or well-mannered enables a person to suppress the mindset of "oppress them, who dey breath". African celebrities go with convoy and bouncers even when they know they are not in danger, just to let you know they can afford the cars and the guards. The rich people in a place like America hardly move with convoys within their cities. The cars that follow a Nigerian governor may outnumber the cars that follow an American president.

Most of them are surrounded by other rich people. Rich things are common in their midst. They will appear childish or mentally-ill when they show off.

Even the Nigerian celebrities that show off in Africa respect themselves when they enter a white man's country. This is because, average white people are not impressed or oppressed with luxuries. We don't know when American superstars buy new cars or private jets. This is because such things are not considered extraordinary in their environments. But we know when Nigerian superstars buy cars or private jets.

An average Nigerian is either impressed or oppressed with 2007 model of Corolla. That is why our village champions show off. An average white adult does not even feel inferior because he or she has never boarded a flight. It is only in Africa that some people feel inferior for having not entered an aeroplane. And when they finally enter a flight or even enter an airport, they take a lot of selfies. The ones with oppress-them mentality will always take selfies and post online each time they travel by air or enter a good restaurant. Who you go use this kind thing impress or oppress in a white man's country?
