If those IPOB secsesionists had some sense, they would have known by now that killing a Nigerian soldier means inviting trigger-happy soldiers to visit your state and destroy innocent people's properties. The worst thing that can happen to a country is compromising its security operatives to the point that non-state actors bear arms to protect the people. 2 Likes |

Whatever retaliation you are planning should be against the terrorists. Don't attack innocent people under the guise of retaliation. 4 Likes |

“Accordingly, it is absolutely imperative that the military retaliate against this dastardly act against troops. The military would be fierce in its response. We would bring overwhelming military pressure on the group to ensure their total defeat,” the statement read. Anything less will be a dereliction of duty. 2 Likes |

Military vows to retaliate on unarmed civilians as usual. Military should also prepare for Unknown Gunmen retaliation after their own retaliation and the cycle continues. Or did they think it was the era when they killed Igbos freely and went about collecting roger on the road without repercussion? Time have changed. Unknown Gunmen are more fearless, ruthless and daring than Nigerian soldiers who even though they have government backing and ammunitions plus number, have never matched these UGM guys man to man, such that they only wait for them to operate and go so that they can descend on unarmed civilians going about their businesses 1 Like 1 Share |

Chikel20000:Not all the fallen soldiers are Igbos, they only displayed the Igbo soldiers to draw people's sentiments. And if Igbo soldiers refused to have sense by being foolish when posted to Igbo land, whatever they see they should take. This sit-at-home and Biafra agitation issue is very easy and simple to solve if Nigerian President and Nigerians want it to end. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

mrvitalis:Shamelessness! Always rationalizing terror. Same will insist on Igbo presidency. Same will form altruism when policies are discussed, an emergency lover of Nigeria. Same will advocate political release of Nnamdi Kanu and yet justify heinous crimes from NKs subjects. How in the world will you justify killing of soldiers, who are on official duty and are your kindred! You kill the subject of CinC yet ask CinC to unconditionally release NK? Also Family members of the killed will forget the deceased if NK is released? Forming smart but people see through your schemes! Shame 1 Like |

mrvitalis:Stop the false narrative. IPOB wants to ENFORCE sit at home. whose is show of strength? IPOB or Army? If it's truly a shared vision why ENFORCE? Pocket all your rationalization lines for your Ilk. They are all isolated events with different backgrounds. You cannot hate Nigeria and yet want to be dashed presidency. You cannot kill soldiers and yet not want to be punished for killing soldiers as in NK. You cannot pontificate about building Nigeria and yet support people who openly declare destruction of federal institutions. That's hypocrisy! We know your leanings. Stop hiding under a finger. 1 Like |

mrvitalis:That's the point. Sit at home will not be successful unless you ENFORCE, because it's not a shared vision! Even Ikemba denounced it in his lifetime! I don't have to be in SE to judge right! In any case, I lived and worked in SE and understand these things. |
