Nigerians Should Sue Organized Labour To Court Via Class Action. by MASTAkiLLAh(m): 11:17am On Jun 01
Organized Labour has vowed to go on strike by the third of June 2024 which is by Monday. Nigerians have been front sit eyewitnesses to the meaningless strikes which Labour has been embarking upon these past few months with even critical infrastructure being affected.
I therefore implore Nigerians to institute a class action lawsuit against Labour unions and their leadership if their strike actions affect us negatively in any way especially for services we pay for ie critical infrastructure like electricity.
I've not seen or heard anywhere in the world where a bunch of unionists keep frustrating the people they claim to be serving. We all know that Nigeria is in a deep mess now and no government can pay that over 400k MINIMUM WAGE they're demanding even if the FG cuts frivolous expenses across board so who are they kidding ? Their planned strike should and must not affect critical infrastructure if not we as Nigerians should sue the NLC and other Labour leaders to court to test what authorities they have under the constitution and the FG will have to follow suit because, the Tinubu led has tried it's reasonable best in this case.

Always stylishly defending your oppressors.. You can't ask the people to institute class action against the government that have improvised them with ballooning inflation and insecurity but u want to protect the very people that have oppressing you.. You can't start the suit against the law makers with their over 300% and stupid allowances, you can start the suit against governors that embezzled at will, you can't start it against the president that doesn't care about the people but you want the oppressed to sue themselves in order to protect their oppressors.. In you mind 60knis enough as minum wage for the people abi.. . Una just get akamu as brain

Sorry, I dont ignore stupidity.

You removed subsidy
You floated the Naira ( dollar went from N700 something to N1500)
You increased electricity tariff from N65/unit to about N265
The cost of living has tripped in just one year
Foodstuff prices have soared
Bought SUVs for Legislature.
Gave Judges/ Judiciary their own.
and you tell labour to collect peanuts.

Return to pre-May 29 2023 status and labour will continue with their 30k minimum wage.simple solution.

If you sue them yourself how is that a crime?

By the way, you aren't a civil servant. Stop convulsing with your 30k monthly salary as attack dog on social media.

A government that hastened to implement subsidy removal on their first day in office but can't offer a reasonable minimum wage for more than a year is what you are defending? Lets be honest 400k is high but what can 60 do for a family?

Government is supposed to create solutions to problems not create a problem that it cannot provide the solution. Did Nigerians ask the Federal Government to removed subsidy? I no longer take labour union serious and I won't be surprised if they cancel this strike before Monday.

Since Tinubu got the most votes in 2023 elections, those who voted for him "massively" should go about the class action suit. Nothing concerns the rest of us who voted for PO. If he stole the msndate, then let empty air and INEC pursue the class action.

there can be no increment in anything without Labour's input. Was there an agreement between they and government for a 400k minimum wage if they support increase in tariffs and taxes ? If there was then, I'll support their strike but if there isn't then they might as well fûck off.

PS, my post is about workers in critical sectors like electricity especially joining the strike with it's attendant blackout. No nation will watch as it's energy sector is tampered with at will except Nigeria so it's not as if I'm opposed to a strike but they should use their heads

I support that 100%. Please open Gofundme account for donation to pay the lawyers. Ajeiro is an irredeemable clown and a stooge of Peter Obi and IPOB. A terrorist group cannot destroy Nigeria by proxy. We must wake up to this reality.

it is you and your government that should use your heads ,this is not how to run a country
Every action begets a reaction, this labour action including street protest should be a reaction to an insensitive government but I don't trust present labour they are lily livered

What are the evidences they were consulted or that they supported the increases and removal of subsidy?
All the policies that the BAT administration has made in the last one year which and which did they consult Labour b4 making?

Workers in the critical sectors do they have a special market where they buy their own commodities at a discounted rate or special filling stations where they buy fuel cheaper?
