Subsequently, the North London side corrected their errors, clarifying that Bukayo Saka was the first Arsenal player to achieve the record.

Manchester City later took a swipe at the Gunners by posting a graphic captioned “Exceptional Erling” with a detailed list of the Premier League teams he had scored or provided an assist against.

Haaland has netted against all 22 teams he has played against during his two seasons in the English top-flight division.
