As long as the 99% Land Mass of Lagos State Land that belongs to the Western Region is returned Lagos Island is free to Stand on its own

Lagos Island was where your "Gedegbe L'eko Wa" Was

The rest of Lagos State belonged to the Yoruba Western Region and was not part of your "Gedegbe"
Say NO to ATTACHEE BY FORCE

Lagos will rather be forcefully annexed than stay alone. Lagos is strategic to the Yoruba race.

Who are the so-called indigenes in the first place? Is it the returnee slaves or the Nupe slaves?

The indigenes I know are Ijebus, Aworis, Egbas, and Egun
those returnee slaves also belong to those clan you mentioned, some are Egba and ijebu slave returnees

You see how Yoruba think..you used Ronu to project Tinubu now you want to keep him out of your region

Yoruba and cunning acts are one

I'm not Yoruba. I'm a full blooded Igbo nigga.

Truth be told, Tinubu and his gang of ex-convicts are largely responsible for the anti-Yoruba feeling of Lagosians.
People like Sanwolu and Bayo Onanuga and MC Oluomo who have kept real Lagosians from ruling their state, and at the same time ruining the business-friendly nature of Lagos with the ethnic motivated property demolitions and the departure of international companies due to bad policies of he Tinubu administration, have all helped in making Lagosians not wanting to team up with other Yorubas.

Bayo and FFK will go on tirades against other ethnic groups who reside in Lagos state, not knowing that they are destroying the Yoruba brand by their actions. They think they are ruining Igbos, but that is not the case. The enlightened Yorubas who are mainly Lagosians see something dangerous with associating with people with Bayo and FFK's mindset. They find such people repugnant.

If the leadership of the Yoruba race had been in the hands of people like Dele Farotimi or Pa Ayo Adebanjo, I can guarantee you 100% that Lagosians would have nothing against being a part of any proposed western region. But Yorubas allowed Tinubu and his gang of nepotists and drug-dealers to take control of Yoruba affairs with their RONU mantra and incompetent leadership of Nigeria. This has caused Lagosians, who in the first place, gave Tinubu less than 1/4 of their votes, to even be more caustic towards any plan to rope them into a Yoruba region, that will obviously be led by Tinubu or his acolytes.

too many educated illiterates after everything Awolowo is alleged to have done for you people. What a sad shame
What did Awolowo do to Lagos? Awolowo established almost all his infrastructural projects in Oyo State. It was the colonial and subsequently federal governments that built most of Lagos infrastructures.

How dare you say that, dont you know it was Tinubu who constructed Lagos from scratch, and with his personal wealth for that matter. The FG had nothing to do with it, the fact that it was Nigeria's capital also had nothing whatsoever to do with it, also not a penny of oil money was ever involved and NO non Yoruba person contributed anything to what Lagos is today.

Hausa and Igbo have nothing in common with Aworis(Yorubas from Ife) who were the real founders of Lagos.
Any Yoruba even from Brazil can claim Lagos,Ogun etc because they are united by blood, culture,IleIfe etc.
Igbos are migrants in Yorubaland.

There are Hausas that have been living there for centuries. Bini owns Lagos

We can now see it clearly. If Nigeria divide into 6, this is some problems we will face. If we have Oduduwa county, Lagos people will be fighting with Oyo, osun, ekiti, Ogun and Ondo.

I was talking about infrastructures, and you started mentioning public - private business partnership between foreign corporations and regional government.
The ports - both sea and air, bridges, major roads, schools, etc., were all built either by the colonial or military government.

100%.

Old Ikeja which included Agege, Mushin, Epe and Ikorodu, and every new LGA that were carved out of them would be amalgamated and returned to the Western region.
True that.

Captain Glover tried it and discovered that Lagos Island on its own was not Viable

The Western Region owned Lagos can be a Super Star without Lagos Island but Lagos Island cannot thrive without Western Region Lagos

For a Start Lagos Island ran out of Land a Century ago

Even the Entrance into Lagos Harbour from the Sea belonged to the Western Region
Nicely put.
