Labour Strike: Lagos, Abuja-bound Passengers Stranded At Ibadan Airport by Ofunaofu: 11:44am On Jun 03
...as workers shut down activities

Lagos and Abuja-bound passengers were stranded at Ibadan Airport as workers, in strict compliance with the Organized Labour directives, shut down activities on Monday.

The Organized Labour had on Sunday directed members of the affiliates union to embark on an indefinite industrial action to press home the demand for a wage increase.

The passengers were barred from accessing the Airport from the Alakia end while other gates leading to the Airport were also locked.

All the offices at the Airport have been shut to passengers while the Airport shuttles are on holiday.
