If feasible why not apply rule 60/40. Take out some from the over-bloated government official salary and give more to the common man. There need to be some sort of balance

Like I don't even understand his perspective and attempt to blackmail NLC.

Like say Nigeria get proper light before. How were they operating their machines during power cut we are fed with daily.

While it is true that ordinary people suffer more from all this, more ordinary people will benefit from getting it right, even if being close to "right"

Anything that happens to anyone in the hospitals as a result of the strike, their government killed them

Buhari did better by signing a new minimum wage in March 2019 before it expired. Jonathan did the same. But Tinubu is busy singing the new national anthem somewhere.

They are quick to buy suvs for themselves and pass "Nigeria we hail thee" to suits the president's ego, neglecting their job of reviewing the minimum wage.

There has been no light and you have been leaving patience to die out of your carelessness. So strike is never an excuse. That's is Nigeria for you.

They have generators... Leave this cheap blackmail.

Y'all quickly cry about citizens welfare when Labor goes on strike, but when your elected leaders are misappropriating funds and subsidising nonsense like Pilgrimage, y'all don't remember the needs of the sick and hungry.

Be careful! The fact that you have access to the social media does not give you the audacity to post comments indiscriminately without recourse to the rules guiding it. Do not be deceived with the freedom of speech because it may not be guaranteed when you go beyond your bounds.

Also use the metod to resolve the lingering issue of Restructuring Nigeria politically to zonal or regional government system with police force, true and fiscal federalism.
Obasanjo tried to resolve this but failed.
Goodluck Jonathan tried to resolve this but failed. The proliferation of undue and excess number of new federating units (states and local government areas) in the old Northern region by northern military dictators will hamper the resolution at the National Assembly which is unduly overpopulated by northern legislators drawn from the excess number of states in the old Northern region.

Government should think of the people. A foresighted government that truly cares would never have allowed this problem escalate to this level.
Are you saying that thousands of people would not have died in hospitals today due to the rubbish state of the health sector, if NLC didn't go on strike? Thanks to government, Look at the price of drugs and the horrible condition of our health care sector. How many people die due to lack of equipment?

This has been a long time coming.

Hospitals are currently under staffed. It was a needed break for my wife, a nurse who the matron decided to punish all the nurses by deducting 3 days from their normal off. Just imagine attending to more than 15 critical patients every time when normal standards supposed to be maximum of 5. Just imagine all the 15 patients in critical conditions having a seizure at the same time and only one nurse assigned to them

The maadt buffurns in Abuja won't do that. All they know is chorusing hi and the hi's have it when it comes to things that favours them.

If only Nigerians can rise up and revolt against its leaders. Unfortunately they can't do such anytime soon cos they're ignorant of the power they possess with its youthful population.

It's impossible for Nigerians to rise up against any government in Nigeria because of ethnic and religious biases of the diverse ethnic and religious groups in Nigeria.
Any uprising against a president from the SW, people of the SW will see it as an uprising against their man.
If the uprising is against a president from the north, northerners will say it's against the north.
