madridguy:You are not reading the room. The FG tried yesterday to scare the unions from striking by tagging the strike illegal but the unions did not give in. They came up with the narrative that hospitals have been cut off power to carry out their functions. Later it was about babies in incubators. Another statement was that the labour unions had affiliations with Labour party. These were the first line of resistance by trying to turn the general public against the striking union. A representative of APC/FG was on ARISE TV talking about how the Union representatives are bad negotiators and need lawyers to negotiate for them. He also talked about Joe ajero owning a 200 million car which he claims the man cannot afford from his salary (another attempt to question the credibility of the strike) These happenings should tell you that the government are not ready to change things for the masses.
