which agreement here, until Fg yield to the Labour unions demands, strike continues. The clueless #60k the Fg is proposing here is never justifiable. Even a bag of garri is over 60k. Tinubu and his team should do the needful on the new minimum wage. Things will escalate more if they donโ€™t act on the plight of Nigeria workers.

It is an increase regardless
Make u salary earners manage it or join traders in onitsha market.

Labour should make HUGE sign boards of the screenshot below, and mount them at strategic locations in Nigeria.
Shame no go let FG refuse 100K and above

Make a huge signboard of something that is not even correct? Accomodation allowance says 30% of basic salary. Tell me how 30% of 2.5 million is almost 5 million. Most of the figures there are not correct.

Till angry 9ja youths hit the streets, their eyes go clear. FG should try as much as possible to make the minimum wage @ least 200k per month ASAP, 9ja is a ticking time bomb. Anything that will make 9ja youths to gather, it will lead to what no one can control #Revolution.

Angola has started theirs with $150. If small Angola can do it, why can't 9ja, Thiefnubuu and his bunch of thieves should cut the cost of governance by 40%.
Hit the street and loose your life and Nigeria continues. You better suddenly for your eyes jejely. No be the person wey motor jam they write plate number

See another one, focusing on minutae instead of the big picture. An obvious typo and the only one there, is all you're focused on. Which other mistake do you see there??
It's people like you that put a damper on any budding resistance or revolution!

They just used the minimum wage to hide their real intentions.

What they really want is anarchy.

I have sat down to think and realized that our problem in Nigeria is the stupid House of assembly. This is why many wish for military rule. The stupid house of assembly will pass laws that favor them, collect enormous salaries and do whatever the President asks without finding out if it's in the interest of the people. They r not fighting for us but for their pockets. I believe they should be scraped. Bunch of thieves.

I wish too but the painful part is that it's the masses that will suffer more. Those bastards are already prepared. They have all they need in stock. Light, fuel, diesel, food even side chiks. Just name it. This corn tree is a mess and it will not get better under this greedy regime, quote me. I don't have 8 fuking years to waste on these bastards.

NLC and TUC are never serious for me, because if they are serious they should stay in strike and conclude the negotiation, to agree on minimum wage is hard for our leaders but to hurriedily pass and sign the old national anthem wasn't a problem, Nigeria leaders are just playing around with us the citizens. Let's see how it goes from labor and Fg

Strike has to stop. Nigerians are already going through a lot and the people NLC is fighting don't seem perturbed because they are well-to-do already.
Besides, what we should be striking about is the skyrocketing prices of all commodities in Nigeria which I believe unrealistic #494,000 minimum wage would have no positive effect over but instead add more woes to it. Come to think of it, the percentage of non government workers in this country is far greater than the public workers. So, a reasonable strike these days should be for our common good and not parochial.
Nevertheless, NLC has not gone beyond their lines by demanding pay rise particularly in the face of the current economic brouhaha as occasioned by the clueless present government but they should be considerate and be more broad in the fight for our common good.

May God bless the suffering poor masses in Nigeria ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Minimum wage in Edo before the increment was NGN 40,000 and not NGN 30,000 FGN is paying.

What I am saying is, you can't use Edo State and Lagos State, because, both were paying more than NGN 30,000 as minimum wage

I laugh. Federal government no be problem, how many states go fit pay anything above 80k minimum wage, states wen never fit pay 30k finish nai wan pay 100k? Na here we go dey wen another season film go start with states sacking their workers say the salary Burden too much for them. Increment is good ooooo, but everybody should be reasonable in their demands before dem go solve one problem take create multiple problems for others.

If NLC calls off this strike without achieving anything tangible then we will know that they are the real enemies of Nigeria and whenever they propose strike,na we go go chase them back to their houses ourselves..price of rice, beans, garri and other things never come down, prices of petrol and electricity never come down, calling off strike is supposed to be the last thing on anybody's mind..this is not even about increase in salary alone, this is about removing all the policies of government that want to kill the massess and make their lives a living hell..if nlc call off this strike without achieving these purposes,na thunder go fire them ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜

The federal government have a target. They know what they are doing. The cost of the strike action embarked by NLC is far less than the profit of dragging it to a particular point. Inflation increased by more than 200 percent, yet they want labour to accept an increased wage by only 90 percent. Is that not crazy.

Go back to negotiation table and we shall add N1k or just anything chicken change join is their usual resolution. However, I've seen enough to know that FG will have to face a dangerous monster they are grooming inside the minds of everybody one day. Everyone knows almost exactly what you received monthly just for sitting down in NASS or Senate representating people you are now treating like garbage
