The PDP Candidate in the approaching Ondo State Gubernatorial election, Barr. Agboola Ajayi has received the National Association Of Nigerian Students Zone D, Award of Excellence during its Financial Summit Program held over the last weekend in Akure, capital city of Ondo State.

The committee on the awards said Barr. Agboola Ajayi was singled out for the prestigious award in recognition of his huge contribution to the development of education in the South West zone.

They also cited his commitment to advocating pro-students polices, human capital, empowerment and infrastructural growth in the educational sector as one of the factor responsible for the honor.

“Barr. Agboola Ajayi is one of the strongest pillars behind we Nigerian Students in this zone. His contribution to development of education in South West zone cannot be less-emphasized. His passion seen in his firm advocacy for pro-student policies, empowerment, human capital and growth of infrastructure in the educational sector necessitates this honor,” the organizer said.

Receiving the award on behalf of the PDP Candidate, Coordinator for AgboYSM, Ijanusi Olawale extended his gratitude to the organizers of the event and subsequently assured them of Barr. Agboola Ajayi’s determination to continue his advocacy for students upon his emergence as the Governor of Ondo State.

“We thank the NANS Zone D for this Award of Excellence conferred on His Excellency Agboola Ajayi. This has once again validated our sincere interest in Students progression,” Olawale said.


“Upon the emergence of H.E Agboola Ajayi, he has made it clear that he will remain an architect of positive change within the realm of education in the sunshine state and the zone at large. All students concerns central to the astronomical fee, arbitrarily imposed on them shall be revisited too,” He concluded.
