What did the defensive Portuguese coach achieve? Didn't he draw the first two matches?

2 draws is better than a draw and a loss! At least he went all the way to a major competition final. If this was afcon group stages, the super eagles would have been on their way out by now

Finidi panicked after going down in the first half. Those second half subs were unnecessary. The midfield disappeared and he relied on hopeful long balls trusting Onuachu and Boniface. As he has seen, those things don't work. We didn't look dangerous going forward throughout the second half. He's still a rookie coach. No world cup for Nigeria. It's over.

The team's problem seems to be more than coaching issues. There's just poor mentality and that could be because the players feel bigger than the coach.
I never had hope on Finidi George, so I am not surprised. Who's Finidi to be appointed as the head coach of the super eagles.

Is like you're very low on memory, have you forgotten so soon how Gernet Rohr use qualify Nigeria with 2 or more matches remaining for both nation and world cup. Don't tell me that this current suffering has eaten deep into your memory... grin
Luckysbab:

Make una dey shut up abeg. Is it not a foreign coach that drew the first two matches? Ignorant folks everywhere.

Despite fifa increasing our Africa to eight slots, we won't still make it. The table is even pathetic. Nigeria sitting at 5th position behind minnows like Rwanda Lesotho nd Benin. Even south Africa were once minnows.

This is a new low for Nigeria. Very pitiable condition. Fvckk shiit embarassed

Gernoit Rohr was the best Nigerian coach ever... And we used politics to sack him

Why do Nigerians like to reason with their anus like this.

The same Gernot Rohr that lost 1-0 to CAR in a world cup qualifier pretty much like this?

Or the same Gernot Rohr that blew a 4 goal lead against Sierra Leone in an AFCON qualifier?

Or the same Gernot Rohr that played a 1 - 1 draw against Cape Verde in a WCQ?

Abeg....make all of you go chop kulikuli drink garri drop cup.

Las las, all coach an the same. Game wey you go lose you go lose.

Will you SHUT UP there!

Slave looking for his white master, even if he is from Division 10 in Poland.

Amunike is there. Oliseh is there. Siasia is there.

Just because Finidi didn’t do it doesn’t mean no indigenous coach can.

Stupid white worshiping dunce.

You want your brother or family member to play in Chelsea or Real Madrid, a white man country, you're using the device made by the White man on the white man's internet but you don't want a white man to coach you yet you love the white man's EPL. Hypocrite

See how low we have fallen after AFCON .
The players are not the problem .
Never employ a Local Coach ! Dem.no sabi
There are good local coaches
The problem is they keep throwing the mediocre ones in
How do you explain the fact laden boss and Abdullahi are national team coaches?
Nduka ugbade as well
Finidi has no business handling a national team at this stage of his career
That's an experienced coach's job

Nothing good will ever come out from a stolen mandate like we have always said from day 1. Like INEC and judiciary like our football and all facets of Nigerian life. Corruption and lack of accountability will never bring any positive results except failures like this except you want to continue deceiving yourself by believing otherwise

Nobody should blame the coach. The players have been the same under different coaches. No commitment from them

Are they saying they don't know what's at stake to be playing rubbish even if your coach told you to follow one patter that didn't work.

It seems SE need to take 2years off from all competitions to develop a strong team.
Their only matches would be against top football nations as friendly matches

This is probably the lowest ebb of Nigerian football, this calls for serious consequences and I want heads to roll. Starting from that useless NFF that have used magomago politics to ruin our football, then the questionable invitation of players who were unfit over more deserving players. Finidi is clearly a poor coach, utterly embarrassing day for Nigerian football.

This team is abysmally bad and should be disbanded, let's recruit from our academy back in the local leagues and patiently rebuild around the kids.

APC is indeed a curse to Nigeria in all ramifications.

Everything is wrong with Nigeria, i think this country is cursed, starting from our leaders. It is a shame super eagles is now a Supper Chicken.
Exactly what I said in another forum and got abused by some people. As long as we have illegitimate leaders at the helms, nothing works, bad luck in every sector as a nation.

I see he is attacking minded the kind of coach super eagles needs, if they sack him now it's pointless

Another utterly poor and embarrassing performance from the Eagles.

We are not just setup to win

Slow when with ball.
Loses shape off the ball.
Every attack will struggle with that Nigerian midfield.
Yet to see what Ndidi brings in as captain.
No zeal to win.

I hope the National Assembly can pass a bill to declare a state of emergency on the team.

What a game

No excuse. He drew the last 2 matches agreed. Yet he make up for it by taking us to the final of AFCON. Your argument is same lame excuse that ignorant people gave why Rhor should be sacked just because he drew against Cape verde in the last world cup qualifying group despite topping the group and taking us to the play-offs.

Ironically, some of this same players would be blaming government for not performing their duties while they also have been having the opportunity to perform their duty through their career but yet always failing like the politicians.

All those foreign players who always feel big for national team should be dropped
