I witnessed a sophisticated phone hacking operation recently, and I'm sharing this warning to alert you to the dangers.

Here's how it went down:

- Scammers called victims, claiming a Zoom meeting required a 6-digit code sent to their phones.
- Meanwhile, the hackers had already compromised a forum member's account (the "fake member"wink.
- The fake member pretended to receive a code and encouraged others to share theirs on the forum, claiming it would help report hackers to WhatsApp and block their numbers.
- Unwittingly, people shared their codes, which the hacker used to match with phone numbers and gain access to more accounts.

The Lesson:

Never share codes received via phone or message with anyone, even trusted friends. These hackers are clever and can impersonate anyone.

Protect Yourself:

- Be cautious of suspicious calls or messages.
- Don't share codes or personal information.
- Report suspicious activity to WhatsApp and your phone service provider.
- Change your passwords and secure your accounts.

Stay vigilant, and let's stay safe online![/i]
