I am very curious to know the difference between these two security organizations. It's like both interlop in their job functions. EFCC arrests oil bunkers and even traffic offenders etc which is under the purview of the Nigeria police. Can anyone help with this question? Thanks.

first of the fact is that efcc was carved out of the police. besides that even that their duties are well spelt out they all go over board outside their jurisdiction and job description. nscdc is meant to deal with oil bunkers, efcc will tell you because money is involved it is their duty to effect arrest in oil bunkers. they might do that if they were on hand so the criminals won't escape justice but should hand them over to nscdc for proper investigation and prosecution.
