Genesis Celebrate World Food Safety Day in Grand style.

Genesis Group, the fastest growing Conglomerate in Sub-sarahan Africa on Friday 7th June 2024 joined other Food Safety Conscious Hospitality Industries in the World in marking this year's Food Safety Day

World Food Safety Day which is celebrated June 7 every year was established by the United Nations to emphasise the importance of food safety for human health and the environment, by reducing the burden of food-borne illnesses, World Food Safety Day also aims to strengthen global efforts to ensure food safety.

Genesis Group, a hospitality industry earmarked three days to celebrate this year's World Food Safety Day with the grand finale on 7th June. The Company used the event to reflect its journey on Safe Handling of Food. With emphasis on the theme 'Prepare for the Unexpected' Mr Peter Ofili, Head of QHSE department of the group poundered on the need to maintaining the required temperature while cooking food, saying it will always be good for cold food to be kept cold and hot food hot.

Genesis Celebrated the event with seminars, lectures and workshops for her staff across the country centering on food safety to maintain its lastest ISO certification which was gained as a result of the company's strict compliance to regulations and procedures as a hospitality industry.

Some clients of the hospitality firm where on ground to join Genesis in celebrating this year's World Food Safety Day in appreciation of its zero tolerance on food-borne diseases.
