Youths Protest In Akure Over Arrest Of Alleged Internet Fraudsters by Gistmedia10: 11:04am On Jun 10
Hundreds of youths took to the streets of Akure today, chanting "EFCC Ole!" (EFCC thief!) to protest the recent arrest of 127 alleged internet fraudsters by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The protesters, mostly young men and women, marched through the city, blocking traffic and causing a stir. They claim the EFCC's recent crackdown on nightclubs in the city was unjust and targeted innocent people.

The arrests were made a few days ago at various nightclubs in Akure, with the EFCC alleging that the individuals were involved in internet fraud and other cybercrimes.

The protesters, however, insist that many of those arrested were simply out to have fun and were not involved in any illegal activities.

EFCC is a very useless organization.
They've still not said anything about Yahoo yahoo Bello, but they're here harassing youths without a court order.

By the way, I thought their Oga banned night operations.

If guns are legalized in Nigeria, EFCC will have many casualties because they operate like THIEVES and we should be able to defend ourselves against Thieves!

Shush!!!
No society is normalizing Yahoo. The society is AGAINST rogues under the cover of EFCC, SARS and the NPF.

EFCC will go somewhere and everywhere will be in chaos. Meanwhile, they'll turn to toothless puppies at the politicians who have plundered the future of the nation. Have they done anything about Yahoo Bello?

Shush, once again. Shush. May Nigeria not happen to you.

EFCC may have their faults, but those faults don't make them useless. The day yahoo boys will defraud you or your loved ones, you will understand how important EFCC is. grin

Considering how Nigeria police has become tools in the hands of big men (politicians and religous leaders) it's difficult to believe that they are acting in the best interest of the people.

You will not understand how corrupt and evil Nigeria police has become until you watch these testimonies;

Which info do the idiots have? The info they have on Yahay Bello, what did they do with it? Imagine you own a hotel n the rogues came to raid, do you think people will ever come to your business again?

Comments like yours is what encourages the useless organization. The idiots can't produce a court warrant yet go about making indiscriminate arrests.
