I always rate USA as the best country in the world. Followed by Canada then Germany. Germany is the best country in the europe. The salary for the same job like software developer or dentist is lower in the uk compared to the USA.

I think a lot of these people are just being stupid.
Uk is a beautiful place to live, work and relax…the misconception is that Uk starts in and ends in London. If you live in London, earn £100 and spend £150 with a debt of £50…blame yourself. Most of us made that mistake and corrected that early enough. Some are still working hard, earning good money but they are still stuck in Peckham, Barking, Stratford and Plaistow.

Back in the days, I lived in East London, worked and mingled in Charlton, Woolwich etc, wasted my time collecting small change with disappointing savings while some other guys left and worked far away. We all thought they were doing drugs when they send money through the Somalis….most of them have established solidly.

Uk doesn’t end in London…even the enhancement wouldn’t cover much….People should learn to be wise. Move away from London, there’s Birmingham even that city is fast developing and cost is going up…

Move up north, there’s Lake District, there’s Wales, remote part of Scotland, there’s Northern Ireland. You could work in those places, raise and save money, buy properties there. These would appreciate before you know it.

Uk is sweet if you are wise and determined.

What’s your brother’s job and skill? Where does he live? What’s his lifestyle?

The more you earn the more you get taxed. Imagine being taxed more than 40% of your gross earnings. You remain average or poor for life.

The only good side of it is that you get services you pay for unlike in Nigeria but i still don't see why people go to the UK honestly when there are progressive European countries and also US, Australia & Canada where you can live your dream life.

Go to the UK if stressful, busy and working life is your thing, in others words grinding and toiling.
