On a general note, I'm mulling a suggestion which is to allow the governors have a little share in every industrial investment project they build in their state. Such as 5% share of it. That could be a form of gratuity while the remaining shares of the industry goes to the state revenue. A governor who didn't invest wouldn't have a share in his predecesor's industrial project except in a situation where he was the one who completed the project. So instead of looting, every governor will be eager to invest industrial projects in their state.

This will help to boost the economy of the state while also checkmating corruption because the governor will rather invest in industrial projects instead of hiding looted money like some useless criminal idiots do. Take For example, most governors should be investing in large scale mechanized farming combined with agro industrialization (for the end products) which will boost the economy of their state the more as a matter of fact. It will improve the revenue of their state thus helping the more. This should be their priority, as well as the security of their states against useless criminal terrorists should also be their priority.

However, I don't know if the governor having 5% share of the investment project will be a good suggestion or not because some may start to abuse the use of it. Point is no governor need to be reminded to improve the affairs of the state he governs because as a matter of fact, the the governor was elected to improve the affairs and economy of the state which is his state to begin with but since some are useless criminal fools who always think about looting rather than invest in projects to boost the economy of their states hence the reason why I suggested the "5% share of any investment project". As a matter of fact, any governor looting instead of boosting the economy of his state is quite pathetic and useless and must be dealt with!

That said, the state governments need to start getting involved in these private sectors where selfish individuals are all about fleecing the people or harming the people hence the reason why the state governments should get involved by having the state's own industries to checkmate the selfish useless criminals out there. For example investment in agricultural projects such as, large scale mechanized farming, agro industries and ranches. Also investing in production industries for the mineral resources..
