obabila: Pls nairalanders i seriously need urgent reply,my brother wrote ife post utme,he applied for pure mathemamatics and he scored 219 in post utme,his jamb score is 248 but he choosed oau as second choice,d reason is that somebody assured him admission in unaab but d person later said he can no longer help him cos he went abroad for his masters,is there any chances for him in oau?

gloatkenf: OSUN STATE is my origin and my scores in Jamb and the sequel are 250 and 260 respectively. My aggregate is undoubtedly 255. Fear gripped me like cold when I first glance this but believe me, with God, even the most impossible situation is surely possible & vis a vis. Lots of luck in Jesus' name! What's ur details! Jerobans: My brother,God will see us through! I got 226 in UTME and 284 in Post UTME which also brought my aggregate to 255. I'm from Kaduna State (ELDS). I believe the cut-offs will be drastically reduced this year considering the low performance. Is there a lot of people with above 260 in your catchment or elds that you know or heard of? There are only two so far I know and it seems many don't like posting their scores or aren't nairalanders. Please, let's try and keep ourselves posted or abreast with latest information. However, the earlier u learn to take ur destiny in ur hands the better. NO 2ND CHOICE IN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, the only reason 2nd choice candidates are invited to write putme is to make money and probably if all 1st chioce candidates cannot fill d available space which doesn't happen (Unilag doesn't call 2nd choice at all). 2nd choice ONLY if ur dad is the VC, DEAN AND PROVOST. 1st choice guys only 3000+ of the 7000+ will be admitted so start calling ur God and ur link into OAU only guys wit merit score are exempted. Don't sit @ home also get books related to ur course of study and read voraciously because wen u resume u will know d reason why the mighty withers in OAU.

Ha ha!!!! i took OAU in 2010 as second choice and i was offered physics instead of d pharmacy i picked.(u can check 2010 thread).Pls if u dont score high marks start pressing...if u score good marks relax(after the cut offs)

hotandholy: if there is any university dat honour 2nd choice is o.a.u its amazing whr u get dis ur junk u called information cos fedral govt had set a benchmark sinece 2007 of 5,000 2 b admited in evry university expectcialy fedral univ...if u choose ife as ur second choice jst add 20 more mark after d cuttoff hav bein realise eg if d cuttof 4 a course is 210 then u shuld hav 230...

Also, any law student in d ause I recently discovered dat diff. schools ve diff. recommended texts, I need the recommended text dat are most essential for a freshman(LAW).
