As we celebrate Democracy Day, it's a moment for reflection and a call to action. Mr. President, Nigeria is going through a lot. Our nation's indebtedness is at alarming levels, and the economic growth rates are causing sleepless nights for many citizens. In these trying times, Nigerians are watching closely, aware of discussions about changing our national symbols – our flag, logo, or even our map. However, let me remind you, Mr. President, that such efforts would be superficial and fail to address the root issues we face. Here are two bold options for your consideration: 1. Rebrand the Nation: Mr. President, you could take the unprecedented step of announcing that the name "Nigeria" ceases to exist. By giving our country a new name, we could potentially reset our national identity and obligations. In this strategy, all debts attributed to Nigeria would become null and void, as the entity responsible for these debts would no longer exist. This drastic measure might provide a fresh start, free from the heavy burden of our current liabilities. 2. Seek Divine Intervention: Alternatively, you could convene a council of spiritual leaders. Invite three pastors, three imams, and three babalawos, giving them a seven-day ultimatum to devise solutions to Nigeria's problems. This approach might sound unconventional, but we've seen community heads employing such measures successfully in traditional settings. Trust in the wisdom and guidance of these seers could lead to actionable insights, grounded in the spiritual and cultural fabric of our society. Mr. President, a good leader is one who provides effective solutions to pressing problems. The types of leadership we've had in the past have failed to deliver the change we need. It's time to take the bull by the horns and steer our nation out of this quagmire. Nigerians are suffering from hunger and economic hardship. Salary increments are not the solution we seek. We need a genuine, lasting solution that addresses the core issues once and for all. As we observe Democracy Day, let this be a turning point for our beloved country. Bold and innovative leadership can guide us towards a brighter future. Nigerians are ready for change, and we look to you to lead the way. Tola O. What you're talking I don't see it coming close to Nigeria problem? Nigerian system should embraced the culture of sponsoring local industrilsation, much of producing what they wants, than importing them, issues license to many of possible to produce electricity locally, which will inturn encourage local productions, by this our economy will strong and stable, |

The problem we have is our leaders are too mentally lazy, they only care about making enuf for themselves and families One would have thought by now, they would have ordered their owomifa boys to cut monies they collect from transporters by Atleast 70% Give a stern warning to security operatives to desist from collecting unwarranted monies from transporters Reduce the action of non state actors that just want to rip the next person off And see things come down to normal a bit But these are their guys, and na where Dem dey chop be that I heard a shocking revelation recently, that agberos in Lagos receives same amount that an owner receives from the driver daily so he pays two master same amount And you want him to reduce his fares so as to run at a loss |
