Adedamola Ogunbewon (The Nation).

Nigerians have urged the administration of President Bola Tinubu to prioritise functional refineries for cheaper fuel supply, mechanised farming to solve food insecurity and capital punishment for kidnappers, terrorists, and bandits.
This was the outcome of an online survey conducted by a non-governmental Organisation Distinguished Asiwaju Progressives (DAP).
Over 500,000 respondents participated in the survey across social media platforms by voting with a list of key sectors the current administration should focus on for immediate impact.

Fourteen percent of the respondents (78,522 votes) identified the availability of functional refineries as the most important issue the current administration should focus on to improve the nation’s GDP, local currency and reduce inflation.

Eleven percent of the respondents constituting 63,909 identified involvement in mechanised farming as something that should be of utmost priority to the government to beat biting hunger.

Ten percent voted local government autonomy and stripping herdsmen of ammunition to be other areas for the government to focus on.
DAP implored the current administration to work on the demands to ensure the development of Nigeria
