ijustdey: Any body supporting this statement made by this Minister is mischievous. He can walk in the shoes of his predecessor. What happened to the savings they got from the removal of subsidy? Why don't the government offer certain services to certain categories of the civil servants and pay them what that meagre amount they want and let's see how long the government can render such services!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

I was thinking the same. If FG increase it to 90k, 100k or more, many workers will lost their job. |

ijustdey: See them. Reduce the money you pay national assembly members, reduce the political appointments you make, and reduce executive salaries across the states and see how much we will save. Reduce the corruption in CBN, FIRS and NNPC and see how much we can save. 5he simple truth is that l, we can pay any amount but we have to curb excesses 1 Like |

As expected. NLC does not have the teeth to bite. Workers are at the mercy of FG. Caging labour with this threat will only lead to more resentment of the government at various levels, which may ultimately lead to something else if the economy remains oppressive 1 Like |

Do not mock aged person. Old age is a blessing. But President Tinubu, you must understand one thing: Nnamdi Kalu has overstayed in detention for whatever offense he committed against anybody living or dead. He is aged also. [b]Please free Nnamdi Kalu from detention.[ Power when over-wielded invites a backlash. |

Pay them mors then fire 50 percent of the civil servants. They don't really do much anyway. Civil service is over bloated, pay a little more then fire at least 50 percent. |

Private sector are not mandated to pay the same wage as government as business owners negotiate directly with workers…. If all governors are able to pay themselves a harmonized humongous wage package then they have no reason not to pay a fair minimum wage in their states…. GboyegaD: |
Re: Minimum Wage: Accept Offer That Won’t Lead To Job Losses, FG Tells Labour by benjaminlawson(m): 7:56pm On Jun 12 |
Before there will be job loss among workers, you ministers will first go, follow by senators and other political appointees, then 21 billion naira vp house sold, all suvs of National Assembly members sold, 17 trillion Lagos-Calabar road project suspended until due process followed and outrageous price reduced, these are conditions that can allow workers to be affected. |
