Appletek:
3 Internal Auditors from TUC are among those attending.
The same people are fighting for minimum wage.

Some union leaders are not shameful these days.

Even if TUC want to attend, they should sponsor one representative for a meaningful impact, and not go through the same exxessive government funds' wastages they should be fighting against

Who knows if these Union leaders don't receive cash gifts after all those governments' meetings (with Senate President, Governor's Forum, President etc.)

Corruption should also be flushed out of civil service

Not in Nigeria's current economic situation.

I understand, but NLC is a member of ILO, so they should be present, even if it is one representative.
NLC is a better representative than Minister of Labour

You are irredeemable.

Having been corrected on your previous folly, you are still insisting on who led the Nigerian contingent.

Is it who led that matters or how many are attending which includes members of most of the labour unions that exist in Nigeria?

Rather than accuse someone of deflecting, look in the mirror and ask yourself why you are so desperate to narrow this down to an APC government problem.

Heal yourself of blindness.

So who led the contingent does not matter? Small wonder leadership in Nigeria is in a mess.

Lets assume we cut off 60 per cent of the government workforce and leave only the productive there according to you. What minimum wage would you say is okay for them? 62k?

If you cut off 60% of the currently redundant civil service work force, and implement hourly productivity based pay, then a minimum wage that amounts to the equivalent of $300/month will be fair in the present circumstances.

That is why the naira will keep on depreciating against the dollars... wasting money dollars on a conference that has no benefit to Nigeria and nigerians

Arostar2023:

The contingent was led by a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria. Government sponsored the trip...even if the grouphad NLC members.
The minister is to be blamed. Why? She is aware of the total number of delegates and she did nothing to trim the number. It is her ministry that sponsored the trip and she signed off on those expenses.
