if you are a nigerian, that means you are a plague to nigeria as you earlier noted

who are the "most of u" and what do you see the "most of u" for?
I'm more useful to country than u.
That's our difference.
People like u are the plague I'm talking about.

Don't you think it's rather unnecessary for you to bring tribe into something as progressive as this?

Tribalism has NEVER brought anything positive in this generation, maybe the generation before ourselves enjoyed it. We have had no luck with tribalism let's leave it behind and focus on better things abeg.

Imagine Dangote refusing to employ other tribes for this same reason. It makes no sense abeg!!!

Obyangel:
Dangote's father must be an Igbo/Jewish man, or Igbo/Jewish man is his general adviser/manager for him to be waxing this great and building great investment.

Igbo's neighbors were busy building religious cathedral through political/bank assistance.

Dangote is a legend.

Igbos are great people

Please understand the issue at stake here. There are a million and one products for Dangote to venture into! It doesn't have to be steel!

Demand for steel is mostly a derived demand. It is not like end you buy soap or even a car which you can use.

Demand for steel is used to make things. Access to cheap steel, especially flat sheets would make Nigerian manufacturers more competitive

Dangote's entry into the cement industry led to locally made cement selling at premium prices. End users of cement have been crying for over a decade.

The same would happen in the steel industry. Costly steel would make many locally produced products uncompetitive.

To get you abreast with how things work, Dangote has been purchasing crude oil from the US. He has been exporting refined oils. Even if Nigeria had surplus crude oil to sell to Dangote, if he got a better and more reliable deal from the US, he will most likely pick the American.

The steel mills Dangote builds may not even tely on Nigerian iron. High quality iron can be be purchased in Liberia, Mauritania, and soon Guinea. He may not consider local iron good enough.

Companies purchase goods anywhere provides them the best deals. That's how the global supply chain works. It won't be fair for Dangote to deprive West Africans the option of purchasing steel from their preferred suppliers. They are also into business like him.

To build a 5million ton steel plant would cost in the region of $10bn. China builds these things like we do pure water factories.

Were Dangote to invest that money into the Nigerian mining industry, don't be surprised if Nigeria's non-oil exports jumps by $15bn annually within 5 years.
Dude, I don't like someone like you Aswear ....

Dangote is a Capitalist, The Game is "Profit" Nothing-Else....

Some people Myopically think Dangote Refinery would make petrol cheaper, Na lie ... You Might be Paying More Than Presently but Petrol would always be available....

Dangote might even sell to Cotonou if it's much profitable than Selling to Nigeria not even Lagos where the Refinery is located might get Petrol ... People will still lament tire & be dumbfounded!

That's is what "Capitalism" is all about Except Checked which shall lead to Gladiatorial Problems because Providers of Capitals(Debentures Holders) for Investments at Dangote's Levels are "Multinationals" thus Nigerian Government Go Hear Am in Other Spheres that's why Most Billionaires seemed "Untouchable" in some Deals ...

Nevertheless, Dangote would also want more faster returns on his equities so he can diversify his portfolio or keep his monies for house ... The longer it takes, the riskier the investment... no Capitalist wants this ...

One Madman like that Bukinafaso boy would just assume power then upturn everything.. imagine the heart attack

Una go lament tire ... It's all about the "Yields" Nothing-Else, If You Don't get it, You will analyse Tire No Evidence grin

Nigerians ain't afraid of higher Prices but simply make the product available ... we are very hard-working people & easily bend to available situations...

No be today Our Nyansh dey Back dey suffer fire!

Just Go & Make Your Own Monies & Tailored it to what you think is best for our country ...

I wouldn't be Hyper analyzing how Someone at Dangote Level should be directing his Investments....

If Dangote thinks steel is the next level to make more Billions into His Portfolio, Steel is it

... If You think Otherwise, Then Babanla, go & make your own Monies then Invest in What You Think is the best for your own Portfolio...

As it stands now, you get Wahala Pass Dangote Economic Teams cheesy
