While Senator Kalu advocates for urgent action to complete the road, his plea has been met with resistance from Uche Ogah and his supporters, who seek to claim credit for the project's facilitation.

However, amidst this political tug-of-war, it is essential to dissect the realities behind the rhetoric and understand the true motivations at play.

Firstly, credit must be attributed to Hon. Nkiru Onyejiocha, the former representative of Isiukwato / Umunaochi federal constituency and current Minister of Labor in the Tinubu's administration, for her initial intervention in addressing the deteriorated condition of the Uturu - Akara federal road. Her proactive efforts helped prevent further deterioration of the road, which was on the brink of collapse and vulnerable to erosion.

Regardless of who initially attracted the project, the primary concern should be the timely completion of the road, especially considering the imminent threat of flooding during the rainy season due to the road's susceptibility to erosion.

Senator Kalu's plea to the Federal government for expedited funds reflects genuine concern for the well-being of his constituents and the imperative need for infrastructure development. However, his noble intentions have been overshadowed by the misguided attempts of Uche Ogah and his followers to politicize the issue and undermine Senator Kalu's efforts.

The misguided approach of Uche Ogah and his mouthy followers to the plea of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu to the federal government is absolutely unnecessary and quit uncalled for.

Uche Ogah seem to be the most confused politician in Abia state. Pitifully, his political story is marked with the most unsuccessful and woeful outing until he begged to be minister under the Buhari administration.

Uche Ogah sold out his chances of winning election several times. As it is today, no body in Abia state would take him seriously at any political front.

The construction of the Uturu - Akara federal road serves as a microcosm of the intricate dynamics of Nigerian politics, where personal agendas often overshadow the greater good.

Amidst the cacophony of competing voices, the bitter truth remains that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu attracted the Uturu - Akara road.

It is imperative to remain vigilant and discern the truth from political rhetoric. Ultimately, it is the actions and integrity of leaders like Senator Orji Uzor Kalu that will shape the future of Abia North and the nation as a whole.
