Lontorlooka:Seeing that their logo mimics McDonalds, the could have learnt a thing or two from how McDonalds handled franchising. The movie the Founders comes to mind 2 Likes 1 Share |

Are you going to pay for consultation? They decentralised the system (chefs) and give individual franchise free as access to operates with their own chefs. That only could not make them manage over 170 outlets of it across the Nation. The taste and low quality of their products drove their customers to their competitors like TFC, Sweet sensation and the rest. |

Lontorlooka: The main reason is their major investor, UAC divested from the business and from then on they didn't have the financial strength to compete. What happened to tantalizers too? 12 Likes 2 Shares |

Lack of integrity. I took a lecture on this sometime ago using Mr Biggs as a case study. Though I learnt it was a licensed company. But how can a company like Mr Biggs be selling the same food at different prices in different branches and with different tastes? I knew there'll be issues within a short time. Hart11:Mr. Biggs outlets are still around and haven't ceased to exist especially in Lagos. They only faced more robust competition from other brands such as KFC, Tasty Fried Chicken, and more. 2 Likes |

It's now Mr small. UAC Foods divested into on-the-go tab-nabs because Nigerians like to eat on the road. Most drinks and sausages sells better on the road than in outlets, so they follow them enter roads too. 5 Likes |

By the mid-2000s, Mr Biggs had lost its position as the undisputed leader of the Nigerian fast-food market. It was no longer the go-to destination for families seeking a quick and affordable meal. The brand had become synonymous with inconsistency, poor quality, and a lack of innovation. Source, Risevest.com 3 Likes 1 Share |

Some years back, I went to an outlet in osogbo, I bought rice and chicken. Lo and behold, the chicken tasted raw blood. It was half cooked. I had to recook it since it was take away. I bought snacks also which I regretted buying. That was the last time I ever entered any building with Mr Biggs logo Lontorlooka: 1 Like |
