Africa celebrated its leading technology innovators recently. Eleven IT professionals received Top Tech Award recognition. The 15th annual ceremony took place at the TechHub Arena.

The awards honor the region's "unsung heroes of business" each year. These IT leaders drive innovation across business, education, government, and nonprofits. Adela has presented the awards since 2008 as lead sponsor.

Africs Business Leaders Ignited the Festivities. Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, co-founder of Adela, delivered the inaugural address. Tunde, Director of Enterprise Sales, also shared opening remarks. Aisha, CTO of TechSavvy Africa, assumed the role of 2024 Judging Chair.

All Sectors Over 160 nominations poured in across 11 award categories. An independent judging panel selected honorees in each:

"This 15th anniversary made celebrating in person especially meaningful," said Aboyeji. "The Africa 2024 honorees have driven incredible tech impact across our region." Aboyeji expressed honor at recognizing their contributions through the awards.
