Setting the pace in tackling this menace in our societies called, "Get rich quick scheme".

Get rich quick scheme include activities like Betting, Gambling, and other forms of Ponzi Schemes.

Clearing the air about the controversy whether betting, gambling and other types of Ponzi Schemes is a sin or not. Some of the perpetrators will want to justify their actions towards the "business" by telling you that unlike internet scam that is widely known as illegitimate earnings but Betting, Gambling and other forms of Ponzi Schemes are legitimate and they are fine about it. Some do it as side Hussle while some specialised on the "business".

From my research, I found out that some people believe it is not a sin at all, some believe it is only when you do it in excess that it becomes sin - reason why God said the love of money is the root of all evil.

But I am telling you categorically that by Divine Revelation and Scriptural Reference, that EVERY BETTING, GAMBLING AND OTHER FORMS OF PONZI SCHEMES, IS A SIN, whether you do it little way or in excess, the watch word is STAY AWAY TOTALLY FROM IT

Truly, people make money, even in millions from these "businesses", but in the sight of God, it is a sin and God is angry about it and want the perpetrators to repent.

If he fails to listen to them, tell it to the church, and if he fails to listen to even the church, let him be to you as the pagan and the tax collector.

God always equates Betting, Gambling and other forms of Ponzi Schemes with Tax Contractors, Pagan, Fornicators, Adulteres and Prostitutes - all are birds of a feathers.

In the bible histoy, Zacchaeous was a popular rich and corrupt tax collector, but as a result of his encounter with Jesus, he ended up repented.

So, if Zacchaeous could repent,. you people too engaging in this type of "businesses", can repent. Only if you're determined.
Salvation is always available with Jesus Christ.
Jesus loves you and willing to save you in this regard.
For the Son of God has come not to destroy people's lives but to save them.

In the church, don't just be a member, but try to join a Service Unit.
Because the reward of being at least a Worker in a church is far greater than just being a Bench Warmer.

Though they may sound similar but there are clear differences.

Everyone knows the importance of money, in fact, not only in spreading the gospel, even, common going to church services, if you don't have money, you will feel ashamed, ridiculed, and embarrassed.
As a Worker for instance, every worker, by training, is obligated to be supporting the church financially, in RCCG, averagely, we give offering four times in every Sunday, that is, at Workers Meeting, we give an offering called, "Workers Purse, at Sunday School Class, we give another offering, during Sunday Service, we give Sunday Love Offering, then, in evening by 5, we hold House Fellowship with another offering. Other contributions may include Project Offering, as an Usher, sometimes when we have ushers meeting, we do give an offering, another thing that requires money, in any service unit, they may ask you to buy a particular uniform for that unit or if there is a special event or outing that requires uniform wears, you may be mandated to buy it, failure to buy it, sow it and wear it on the event day, you will not be relevant / recon with in that group, now,, imaging, all these activities requiring money may happen within just one Sunday.

Cost of printing a copy of flyer could be #100 or even #200 or more, depending on the quality of the paper, and you will need to be sharing it in strategic locations, spreading it in major cities within your reach, the distance you will cover will be determined by the transport fair available, the people you engage in such aggressive evangelism/ preaching, logistics costs, etc. in ensuring the message spread in major cities around the country.
Channeling same message via social media too is not cheap, cost of graphic designs, data subscriptions, etc. Pasting postals on walls in strategic locations, if you engage people in doing these, the people will be paid for the job done.
So, you can't deny the fact that all these require money.
And in ensuring continuation, constant fund has to be provided .

The problem of get rich quick scheme, is rapidly destroying the moral values of our societies, destroying the image of our nation outside the country.
In abroad, the word, "Nigeria", is now synonymus with "scam", rituals, etc. that is what larger percentage of our youuths are doing on daily basis. They don't value education again, they don't even believe in learning trade, all they want is to become millionaire overnight through all manner of strange ways.
