They should still be dealt with for disobeying an order
Multichoice is the only company I expect they should leave Nigeria, very useless people, if Court order is not ok for them, they should leave and not disrespect our justice system

Question is... Why do Nigerians hate pay as you go with DSTV and their other products? Because if we don't get it we would have gotten it by now..

Why?

Why has it not reflected on the app?
Mine is still showing 15700.

Anyways, it's their business, I have lost interest in DStv even if compact is reduced to the initial 7k, unless they make it pay per view

Let the free market breath.

DSTV is a private company and should be allowed to set its rates. Let DSTV be responsible for its rise and fall.

DSTV before could easily raise rates but the massive devaluation of the NAIRA in the past one year has been too hard to pass on to the consumer, and they are revolting.

I also sense DSTV may be suffering from competition from streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime which are much cheaper and their rates affordably priced by their parent companies tailored to each individual country.

It is internet protocol tv, you subscribe and stream stations using your data. It has thousands of tv stations all over the world including DStv stations.
You only need to have good internet connection along side your smart tv or android box for non smart TVs.

It's easy to regulate and tackle the public sector.
Good one from the judiciary and Multichoice.
Hope prices of PMS, diesel, gas, foid stuff, forex e.t.c , will also revert to old prices.
Those won't revert. They're only going after, "soft targets". How can you force a company to revert to its old price - as if you're the one subsidising their cost? These are the things driving away foreign investors.

Better for them! They have been taking us for a ride and milking us at their will.

Lack of serious competition has enhanced their high-handedness.

It’s disorganized. Dstv knows they have a very good product that no one else is close to matching, that’s why they keep increasing their fees without remorse.

There’s zero competition

DSTV hardly shows current movies or shows. They repeat their programs every year. On Nickelodeon, the Thunderman twins are adults now, but DSTV still show the programs when they were teenagers. Captain man’s sidekick, started as a little boy, they still show this even though is an adult too. Instead of increasing their prices, DSTV should give us more recent programs.

..tell the federal government to make the economy to be good and better... reduce the price of fuel disel, appreciate the naira and make it have value against the dollars, provide ,24 hours constant electricity light.make the environment conducive for bussinesses companies to thrive...and the price of DStv will reduce and come down...in a bad economy prices of things must go up and increase..at least you can see how prices of foodstuffs goods, transportation, house rent, school fees as gone up due to the removal of fuel subsidy and the bad economy
