This is the second time I will be reading this kind of awful news about UNIBEN. The past one occured in 2020 and now this.

The university needs to invest in the security of its students on campus and around the campus

This happened off-campus. Except you want the university to attach security operatives to guard each student everywhere they go, i dont see why you are calling out the school.


This is failure on part of the government.

Though it does not justify her death, you're correct. Ladies need to know this isn't the case of blaming the victim. The issue here is not becoming one.

You don't drive carefully because you trust your driving, you drive extra carefully because of the idiot who drives like a mad man, to be in control of your car when a reckless motorist crosses your path. You are in a better position to adjust your speed, swerve and protect yourself.

You can't change evil people but you can check and tame evil people. Constant power supply and installation of CCTV cameras are first step to eradication of crime is we want to be sincere to ourselves. Nigeria is still battling with band A and band B and band Q. What a shame

This is why technology is good. If we had CCTV on our streets and stable power supply, there would be easy pointers to who the killers are from CCTV footage.

It pains me because she graduated at such a young age in 9ja and her life was cut short at the peak when it was time for her parents to reap the fruits of their labour

If we had an independent state and LGA policing structure whose personnels were well trained and fully equipped with the latest tech gadgets,this unfortunate incident would have been properly investigated and the perpetrators arrested while awaiting their punishment!

Unfortunately,the current leaders are busy equipping a vice president's residence with humongous funds while our ever rubber stamp national assembly willingly and gleefully permits the purchase of a new presidential aircraft with funds that we borrowed!

Most times, na people wey their own no good,naim dey go around dey look for people trouble and claim say person don buy their trouble.. They hardly mind their business.

Normally, no body go like them around. They force themselves to talk to you, "they walk up to you" with the intention to cause trouble or harm the persons wey no even observe them.

Painful exit

Gone are the days, when a graduate of poly ibadan came from abroad after many years for clearance, the was busherly killed and drop him across the school, though the guy was once a cult in the school shaaa.
