Slytiger: My guy, there is a limit to your knowledge so I'm hoping you're asking sincerely. Yes. Yenegoa is coastal. If dredged it is coastal year round, if not dredged it is seasonally coastal. Bayelsa state government has the money to dredge if they choose The area south of Yenegoa is a collection of islands, it's not solid land. Yes, Yenegoa is coastal, it is closer to the coast than PH which has a sea port. That land south of every niger delta city or civilian area is navigable by the largest oceanliners in the world. Is abeokuta like this? Is abeokuta even on the path I'm talking about. Or do you struggle to not reason beyond tribe. Am I from Yenegoa that I can explain to you that this will cut yenegoa's potential access to the sea? Look at a map and stop reasoning by tribe 2 Likes |

NaMe4: But it started from Lagos city, only to bypass important cities/state capitals in the SS? How exactly is this road going to be more beneficial than East-West road that is very bad and abandoned? At least, East-West road connected cities. Can you name the type of investments the coastal road will bring and to which towns exactly? Are you aware that this road will effectively make several ports in the SS worthless including Warri and P.H? Yet the road won’t affect the ports in Lagos?? Can’t you see what Tinubu is doing here? Render SS ports incapable of receiving big ships so that Lagos ports will be the one receiving them while only small ships comes to SS? Anyways people that don’t think critically always end up being exploited and cheated. 3 Likes |

JagabanB: Igbos have proven over and over again to be smarter and more sensible than you guys. Igbos supported the best candidates that ended up being the best presidents since 1999, namely Obasanjo, Yaradua and Jonathan. Yorubas supported the worst candidates that ruined Nigeria, namely Buhari and Tinubu. This road is nothing but a foolish idea driven by corruption, bigotry and selfishness. If Tinubu wants to help the SS, he would have ensured that East-West road is completed with only a fraction of the money they budgeted for this corruption road. But look at how terrible East-West road is, while he is busy deceiving gullible people with this so-called coastal road. 3 Likes |

Ofodirinwa: It’s only Igbos that can see through Yoruba “sense”, other Nigerians are just gullible. That’s why Tinubu keeps pushing his tribal agenda against Igbos. Tinubu wants Lagos to be the alpha and omega in Nigeria while he reduces the viability of every other region. They built Lekki port, Apapa and Tin Can are also there in Lagos. They now realized that once regionalism kicks in, SS ports will become viable and Lagos ports won’t be used much again. So, he came up with a “genius “ idea of coastal road. Render all SS ports incapable of receiving big ships while only Lagos ports can!!! He is also proposing Sokoto to Lagos road. Kano to Lagos railway is also completed with standard guage but P.H railway to the hinterland doesn’t get attention. The British wasn’t stupid when they built both Lagos and P.H railways to connect upland regions. Same Tinubu is moving government ministries from Abuja to Lagos. He wants every part of Nigeria to rely on Lagos. A country of 200 million relying on one city?? |

Ofodirinwa:I don't think they can ever complete that "white elephant" project in the next ten years. Whatever construction they are doing in Lagos right now is a child's play. By the time they reach Delta/ Bayelsa States and encounter continuous span of extensive creeks, mangroves, rivers and swamps covering hundreds of kilometers with no solid land in sight, nobody will advice them before they will abandon the project. 1 Like |

mrvitalis:I'm from Delta State and I have been to the coastal creeks and swamps before. The project is a scam and the government know they can't complete such project. Where is the land to build the road on along the Niger Delta coast when all you can see is continuous "sea" of swamps and creeks spanning hundreds of kilometers? Presently, Nigeria don't have that kind of money or even the technical know-how to complete such an ambitious project. 1 Like |

MrEverest:Smart lgb0s have never built any world class infrastructure on home soil since their origin. Smart lgb0s have sh*ts for Leaders from year to year but always claiming to be smart. If OBJ, Yar'adua and GEJ were great leaders, we won't hear songs like "food no d..." From African China, an lgb0. We won't hear Nigeria jaga jaga. We will have a national carrier, we will have functioning refineries, we will have NITEL and grand railways, all our seaports will be working, our educational system would be topnotch as well as infrastructures. I can go on and on, the only thing you lgb0s know is Ioud mouths. |
