But the president can toy with the people's welfare.

It seems Bayo Onanuga has been handed the reports of both the Malawi VP and the Iranian President Aircraft incidents for him to have concluded that the reason the two aircraft crashed was because it was a rickety aircraft.

Bayo Onanuga has found a leeway to vent his frustrations and excit his fellow BATerians after making a blunder and a mess of his entire life and career in his last press release when he claimed that Nigeria budgeted 97% of revenue for debt service in 2023, which turned out to be a lie from the pit of hell.

Bayo should stop being mischievous with his press releases. No one wants Tinubu dead. Since Tinubu could go from Saudi Arabia to the UK on a commercial airline, he should continue using commercial airlines, he should as well sacrifice a little for the country especially now that there's no money to even pay Nigerian workers a living wage.

Bayo Onanuga should remember that he told Nigerians that Tinubu inherited a dead economy. Can a dead economy afford a new aircraft?

The current presidential aircraft is faulty. Have some sense.

Reasonable leaders all over the world make sacrifices in hard times. At a time the president is asking Nigerians to fasten their belts and yet they are embarking on wasteful projects with reckless abandon,in the worst forms of corruption and misrule.Over a month ago,the president of Kenya reassured his people of his true commitment in making sacrifices by reducing cost of governance,he had decided to hence go on foriegn trips using commercial airlines rather than using the presidential fleets that costs a lot and drain tax payers money.
Here in Nigeria,it is always the dying masses that are always adviced to make sacrifices while the theiving politicians and our serial looting leaders are living extravagantly in the worst form of impunity. We need compassionate and responsible leaders that truly have the political will like Peter Obi,to move the nation forward.

Tinubu is the first Nigerian president with his own personal jets for years and he was able to manage and maintain it for decades. To cut cost, last year after swearing-in, He requested that the national assembly and NSA shld approve him to be using his private jets for official assignments and they disagree that it's not allowed on security and constitution matters. I know obi has no idea about jets and planes because he has no money for such, but if he is the president and was advised on technical performance of his official jets will he force them to continue using it? Talk is always cheap.

Senseless & Insensitive!

I didn't know dat Mr Bayo's "stupider"! So, do we conclude U want Millions of Nigerians dead for sticking to ₦62k minimum wage?

We need a sacrificing president, why must the citizens be the only one sacrificing their basic needs while the president enjoy luxury?

In one year you bought luxury yatch, you bought luxury SUV, built luxury VIP Lodge and now luxury jet. What other luxury known to mankind is left?

In 3 months he spent #8.6B on travels alone , globetrotting and gallivanting. NASS approved #500M for the take-off of his Coastal Highway of Fraud but he released over #1T. An ardent crook

Nigerian's are in a tough ride in the hands of tinubu and Apc,

Tinubu must continue till 2031, may be his failure might reformat our politics of tribe and religion mentality,

I like the way the Muslim/Muslim ticket is injecting the citizens with over-doze of hunger and insecurity on a daily basis.

Tinubu is always saying Nigerians should sacrifice but has sacrificed nothing for Nigerians.

Them do renovations with billions, buy yacht with billions, go hajj with billions, approve costal highway with billions and now buy a presidential jet with billions.

Nothing for Nigerians, even minimum wage is hard for them to agree on.

God no dey sleep and He will surely turn around the captivity of Nigerians one day.

Bitter Obi would be very happy that the Presidency replied him one out of twenty times he barks like a dog. This time, it was because it involves the President and VP lives and could not let his foolish statement slide. Mr. Gbajue who bought 400 SUVs for roadside igwes in Anambra, is talking about wastages but wanted the President flying on charter jets which is unsafe, uneconomical and more wasteful. Lately, plane crashes have been rife around the globe. Obi is the worst opposition candidate in the history of Nigeria.

And don't forget that a good opposition is not what we need: sowore is a good opposition, and we don't need that sort. Could you refute what PO was saying?

The only reason why I would not want Tinubu dead is, I don't want shettima to be President. In fact, I don't want any northerner as President of this country or FCT again, or else

Ok.

I was able to dig up one hit. The interesting thing is that the news reports claim it was Tinubu who told Ajaero & NLC members that his request to use his jet while in office was rejected. The news report also claims that Tinubu informed Ajaero and co. that he also requested for a scaling down of his presidential motorcade but that request was also rejected.

However, we were not told who Tinubu made the request to...and who exactly did the 'rejecting'. undecided The news report does not mention lawmakers or the NSA at all. Instead, there is a strange comment about Tinubu himself being limited to the use of a 2 bedroom flat as residence (presumably in his official capacity). undecided

It is in the public interest that there is full disclosure on this matter so that Nigerians can know who their enemies are (as if we didn't already know. undecided).

The same people telling us they inherited dead economy from Buhari, same people planning to buy another aircraft. Same people telling the citizens to endure the hardship, same spending like prodigal son. They have built VP's residence for 30b. Renovated National assembly with 15b. Expanded the number of ministers and ministries. Increased the number of Advisers, SSAs and SAs. In the next minutes, the same set of people would tell you to endure the hardship for a better tomorrow. A tomorrow you're not sure of. People are dying like chicken this day because of excruciating economy, may those ones will enjoy the good of Nigeria after resurrection day.
Those still giving blind support but go to the hiding begging for what to eat to survive. Suffering and smiling set of people.

I swear to God if it was an offline you're making such silly comment, the suffering citizens will hack you down, because your comment lacked empathy and patriotism.
You subscribed that the president should buy new aircraft but you know many citizens cannot even afford to buy 1 litre of fuel to take their car out. Many have even grounded their cars for long and go on public transport. The cost of car parts have gone beyond the reach of the citizens. Mr. President having a faulty craft just for once, you subscribed that he should go and use tax payer money to buy new one. You're not a real man and unpatriotic.

The first question you should have asked yourself is, how many aircrafts do president have? From available record, I think they have up to 10. Now, are you saying all the 10 are malfunctioning and unusable again.
Meanwhile, the next question is, why keeping unusable aircrafts and not dispose them to buy better and usable two or three. Well, God give sense but not everyone have common sense.
The presidency just toying and toiling with some of you destinies unknown to some of you.
Whether jet or aircraft, the president cannot be keeping redundant or unusable aircrafts, if truly he knows what he is doing in this excruciating economy, some of them need to be disposed quickly. A serious government prioritize issue of such for the greater good of the people. It would have made more meaning if the president says they are selling some of the aircrafts to purchase one or two good ones than saying they are buying new one to add to the existing ones.
