it's a lie, that guy has some kinda grace and oil flowing down his head, Don Jazzy was just a ladder for him to climb and that doesn't mean he has to remain in Don Jazzy's shadows.
We shall see.
Na wetin them tell D banj be that.
Calling him Eja Nla grin

This young lad made the biggest mistake of his life by leaving Don Jazzy. He would have learnt from D banj, Korede Bello, Raekado Banks etc
Things aint same again...
Social media and internet is a game changer right now. Some upcoming music artists dont need famous record rabels to blow, just build a fan page and ure good to go.
As it is now, rema is both famous and assible and cant go into extintion just like dat.
Its just d way skit makers are making it witout having to join nollywood.

Super mid song. Selena Gomez is the only reason I listen to it. Congratulations to Rema anyway. It is not easy. Nigeria on the map once again.

This life is funny. The formula to success is not cut-and-dried. This guy has sang better songs than this. Many m musicians have better songs…like much better songs.

Ginger Me by REMA is sweeter than Baby Calm Down!

Selena Gomez made Baby Calm Down very popular.

Its not a matter of that guys, issues dey ground, they just recently bought a major shares of mavin and the agreement includes the likes of rema and starr as assets acquired by the soon to be new shareholders which is problematic , meaning don jazzy nor be main oga e go be, the new share holders will.determine whats going on. Contract issues and identitiy js a big a deal, that aside rema ia also signed to a label associated to don jazzy via dprince another typical subsidiary of some sort. Reason like this, Rema wan pack for house A way don jazzy buy because new tenants don come but e wan enter House B still owed by Don jazzy. grin grin
You mean D'Prince wants to sign Rema to his record label? D Prince record label is also trying

I know tastes for songs vary from person to person but i find it highly difficult to understand why this song is highly rated as it is, maybe its the party vibes it gives the people who like it but as for me, This song doesnt even qualify to be on any one of my playlists and trust me i have more than 10k rated songs across different genres on my Youtube music platform of which his Dumebi song and a couple others (due to their strong beats) are part of but this one no follow for me. sad . All the same congratulations to Rema for this milestone achievement

There is a difference between Afrobeat (played by Fela) and Afrobeats (notice the S at the end of the word).

Exactly. Americans only listen to the remixed version of the song because of selena gomez.

It is always the talentless one's that can be found saying rubbish about a good thing. Why not just congratulate him and save the rest for those who listen to your views? Smh

In almost any field of endeavor so long its INDEPENDENT of the Naija govt. Nigerians do well.

You can hardly get any student sponsored by the govt on scholarship that comes out outstanding
Its almost impossible to see any footballer that got the backing of the govt excelling abroad
The entertainment industry is almost independent of the influence of govt hence you see such excellence
Many Naija Biz men who venture outside the shores of the country tend to do very well

WHAT DOES THAT TELL US ?
Politics and Religion holding many Nigerians down
