If there are Urohobos and Itsekiris areas that share borders with the Atlantic ocean in Delta state, then the road will pass through their communities. The road will only pass through areas that are close to the Atlantic ocean.
Well that's pretty obvious now. Itsekiris in Delta State are much closer to the Atlantic ocean than the Urhobos extending right into their shared border areas with Ilajeland in Ondo State.

I've said over and over that as good as this project is, it's not a priority to spend over 15 trillion.
Why not build refineries, industries, or mechanized farming

10 billion for compensation? Is Tinibu this careless? There are already route mapped out for this road why not continue with it. More than 100 billion will be used only for compensation. Just one section of the road that is not up to 10km, you have already spent 10 billion in a road that is 700km. Tinibu please go back to the original plan mapped out for this road.
This 10 billion is enough to build six companies in the six geopolitical zones.

Yes you're right. In delta state, it will likely pass through Itsekiri and Ijaw land. The south south and ijaws territories in particular will benefit more from this project than Yoruba land.

Sokoto - Badagry Road. ?
Instead of maintaining the current infrastructure.
We forget the current roads and build new ones .
What a waste of money and resources.
These roads will take 10 years to build. Something that the next president will put a stop to.
Why not put the money on local network of roads ?
Street lights. Town planning !

Debt , debt and more debt .
All you have to do is look around at projects our leaders have undertaking . There is no way this will be completed in Tinubu time. Is this priority for majority of Nigerians at this time.
Inflation is all time high -
There are no other income revenue than Oil
Unemployment rate.
This is a diversion from what ails the country .
If he were putting that money in building a refinery, good schools , paying our lecturers and teachers so they don’t have to get money from students from answers . Repair the grid for electricity . Retrain the police on proper policing .

it will be abandoned that is what I want you to understand, no be Nigerian leaders again?..we know them too well to jubilate over whatever they are doing that seems promising to give Nigerians joy.at the end they will embezzle he money and use it to send their family abroad to enjoy in a place where such facility exists in reality...I wish corrupt Nigerian politicians death and their relatives....!!!!!

You are wrong.

The project may be delayed but they are bent on completing it and when theres a will theres a way.
Why people are skeptical is because if past presidents but PBAT will shock everyone.

No one has really ever had the balls to commence it and the badagry sokoto road (which has also been designed looong ago) until now so I believe the the same fate which our major roads face (Lagos ilorin, Kano Maiduguri, East west road, enugu PH etc) which is delay but will eventually come to fruition

Haha, only first phase he spent 10bilion. What will happen when 700km will be finished? It will be more than 100billion I even mentioned.

In most cases they are still using the route mapped out but Nigerians already build on this route , yet they are still being compensated....

Stupidity is when Tinibu only reverted to old plan because most of friends houses will be affected. If the old plan was good why not use it? No they want to syphon money.

All you ever see is abandonment, and not completion!

Na WA o.

Whether anyone likes it or not, you see this 700km Lagos - Calabar coastal highway project will be completed and delivered right on schedule.

If you like, when you want to travel to your village, use the road. If you don't like it, your 1300km inner road will always be there for your use, it still doesn't take away the fact that it's a loudable project useful for the majority.

I'm sure you're one of those who could have kicked against the construction of the third mainland bridge claiming it's not necessary since eko bridge and Carter bridge are already in place. Just imagine the absence of such a bridge in Lagos today.

Foresight is very necessary!

I rise!

You people are only good at insult nothing again. Ignorance! Do you know what it is? For a man that called himself a president to abandon a route mapped out by previous administration for no just reason, only to be destroying people's properties and be paying compensation. #10 billion already spent on compensation for first phase, before the completion of the road which is 700km #100 billion will be spent. You are as wise as Tinibu
