There are VIP and Executive Lounges in that Abuja airport. Amaechi can afford to stay there. That he decides to stay in the general lounge is no big deal.
When Ngige was minister, there was a day we shared seat row. Economy. Just me and him, middle seat was empty. His police orderly sat somewhere at the back.
I just greeted him and accorded him his full respect. And that's it. Throughout the journey, he was reading newspaper and me I was reading the inflight magazine. Plane land, all man went their different destinations.

No word there! Amaechi is not a particularly flamboyant public figure and he is not complaining. When you are in office you are government property so the perks of office are for the office not forever. Amaechi was not mediocre in the tenure of PMB. I may not have supported his decision to contest against Asiwaju but he has my respect. Pa Charly Boy is far older than HE Amaechi and should be ashamed of mocking his aburo like an agba iya
