1- it granted the reliefs sought by Aminu Babba that the Emirates Law of 2019 was repealed in violation of Court order, so it is voided. So according to the court, the action of the State Government is hereby reversed.

2- But the Court went ahead to grant the application of the State House of Assembly to stay the execution of the above mentioned court order. Meaning that Sarki Sanusi remains the Emir of Kano since the order should not be enforced, until the final determination of the appeal.

3- The Court also transferred the matter to another court. Meaning that Justice Liman is no longer the judge that will continue to hear and eventually determine the main suit even if the Court of Appeal holds that the Federal High Court has jurisdiction.

In short, the Emirates Law of 2024 sacking the 4 other Emirates and on the basis of which Khalifa Sanusi was reinstated remains valid and in force, until the Court of Appeal decides the case.

I quickly remembered what you posted earlier after reading this comment . You said It's better to have scores settled through the courts than on the street and that's exactly what you're just seeing. Bayero should be the scapegoat here as you also suggested, incl his backers and charged for contempt.
