This is not hostel. It's private accommodation occupied by a student. You live where you can afford. It could be a £1,000 per month flat.

Wetin my eyes see for Uniport hostel. I pack shit and cut grass tire. Every morning and evening, 8 dey meet shit for the toilet allocated to me and my roommates. Both my roommates and others will use the toilet and leave it messy. No one cares to clean it except me. I became a slave there. Some students are just terrible.

That's why if you not a student with a family, it will be very hard to find accommodation. People don't want you messing up their property
