Must this man hold a Nigerian Passport? He is a pain in the ass. If he cant find a way to get Nnamdi from DSS cell, he should just shut up. As long as you dont have the solution to any problem, leave it as it is.

Your attempt to hold igbos down has seen Nigeria worse of

I agree with you 100%

But a refinery can be built where there is no oil?

Apt response! It’s only when it comes to Ndigbo or the south-east that these bigoted vermin will want to form ‘educated analyst’!

The truth is, you can't eat your cake and still have it.

Be wise enough to never cause a war that you will end up being the same person that will be down on your knees begging for respite.

What David Hundeyin has said applies to all those who get defeated during wars., Examples are countries which the allied forces defeated during the second world war. These countries were systematically put under control economically, militarily, even linguistically..................and more.

Once again you can't eat your cake and still have it.
This idiom is to Nigeria today because it is never working. Nigeria is a failed state. All wars are not in vain and surely comes down with its consequences. Remember that absence of war does not mean is all well and peaceful

How about transporting the iron ores with trains?

Or barges on the river which would have even been a cheaper option!

How anyone can argue that laying huge pipes along kilometres of land (which are prone to damage, vandalism and have to be regularly serviced) to transfer crude oil from the deepest south to Kaduna is cheaper, easier and more cost-effective than transporting iron ore from Kogi to Onitsha on barges or train…..this just goes to show you the level some are prepared to descend to in their quest to try and ‘justify’ the anti-Igbo economic policies that have been the hallmark of successive gov’ts in Nigeria….with the exception of the GEJ gov’t, and to a lesser extent the OBJ gov’t!

In the case of Nigeria, distance between Niger Delta And Kaduna Refinery is over 1,000km.

Think about:
1. Thousands of pipelines and their initial cost (millions of Dollars) , maintenance and surveillance for security and safety
2. So many compressor and pump stations have to be built along that line, the initial cost, constant manning, maintenance, replacement at end of life.
3. Flammable events due to exposure to vandals and the environmental impact and consequent plant shut down costs.

With Iron Ore you just ship by barge, truck or train. It is not flammable, no maintenance etc.

So you may need to revisit your assertion. Also that gravity thought too is off, if you know the viscosity of oil and flow assurance.

Just seen this post, and it mirrors mine in argument!

One thing people tend to forget is that after the steel is produced, it would also need to be evacuated for export as well! The Soviets considered all angles (not just source of raw materials) before choosing Onitsha!

The useless federal gov’t…after wickedly overruling the Soviets and removing the steel plant from Onitsha to Ajaokuta, decided to locate the Metallurgical Training Institute (MTI) in Onitsha instead!

As you all go on conducting an autopsy of Ajaokuta, please remember that kogi state former governor once made a statement, something like below :

APC lost the 2023 presidential election but INEC helped them rig the election against the winner who he clearly identified as the LP candidate

Just remember, no matter the brouhaha about him and EFCC today . . . never we forget to make him explain what that his statement means.
If Obi truly win the election, he won't be desperately visiting mosques in the north and building substandard boreholes like the roads he constructed in anambra state as governor. Why is he looking for alliance when he knows he won the election than puting his energy to call out inec. He just want to keep some of his zombies to be relevant till 2027 to contest and even be a vice to Atiku which is likely by politicizing every bad happenings in Nigeria from other zones but keep mute in his own. I have said it and will say it again that eighty percent of Obidients are igbos and you people are easily brainwashed. Labour party leaders and NLC which has been politicize are fighting because of sharing formular. They made money thru many senseless Obidients. Tenants became street owners and this are the kind of people who would have been at the helms of affairs.

Igbos are very wise and intelligent. They knew previous two presidential winners were not right for the country.
And they held their ground. The last election, Peter Obi was the better candidate and the only one who truely was ready to work with the common man.
So you expected the south east to act politically correct by voting the wrong candidate just because they shouldn't be seen as supporting their own?
It was fortunately that the better candidate happened to be an Igbo man.
You guys are very funny. You all will rather vote a pig than an Igbo man and yet you keep disturbing the peace with 'One Nigeria' slogan.
Keep voting funny characters.
It's quite unfortunate that those who make up large numbers of voters are the ones with very bigoted mindset.
Was Tofa the better candidate in 1993 when you people voted against Abiola. Which indices or parameter you people used to ascertain that Shagari was better than Awolowo when you people voted against. Obasanjo was not a better candidate than Olu falae but you people voted for him. It's is just envy and jealousy you igbos have for Yorubas that resulted in voting against their interest and you want them to vote for your brother. Be very ready because in 2027, Yorubas will vote so much across the south west for Tinubu. Propaganda Obi used will not work again.Due to you people desperation and devilishness, you wanted to cause hatred among Yoruba Muslim and Christians.

The issue of envy is the other way round. What's my business with 2027.
Normally, Tinubu will win he's second term.
We should stop deceiving ourselves, you don't like the Igbos.
For your information, Igbos always make the right choices in every election.
It will be better you guys have your own country so that you can implement strict immigration laws against the Igbos.

You always read nonsense that tickle your victimhood.
Ajaokuta was sited close to raw materials (which is heavy) --- Itakpe Iron Ore.
Itakpe is a village close to Ajaokuta (both used to be in one Local Government Area).

How unreasonable would it be to be transporting heavy iron iron from Itakpe to Onitsha by River Niger which is only navigable during raining season.

Lol. The way you built a refinery in kaduna that is miles away from Niger delta.

Refineries can be built anywhere. Refineries are similar to Rice Mills, where you take rice paddies there and it process it to give you edible rice.

There are many refineries in France, India and other countries, without crude oil.

The Refinery in Kaduna was to produce petroleum products for Northern Region and if Nigeria were to be a serious countries, more refineries ought to have been built in different parts of Nigeria and not just in Niger Delta.
