In America, Australia, and UK, men do not shave their armpits (under arms), chest, or legs. Sometimes their private parts are shaved but not always. This is considered normal and suggested possibly gay if the man shaves everything.

However, since living in Nigeria for six months so far, I have found that many men shave their armpits, chest, even some shaving their legs.

Can anyone tell me why and when this started happening and what was the reason?
