Why should you spend 8m and can’t eat good? The flight to Saudi is less than $1k return ticket. Yet they are charged too high and stacked together in shared accomodation. It’s turned into a Cash cow instead of a worship experience

This people don Carry Ebi pa won go Mecca ohhh. Kudos to Gov Bago for calling this out!

With the 90bn they're still starving, if they can't afford it why embark on the pilgrimage

if you die in hajj as a faithful muslim - it is al-jannah straight

before the days of using western technology to fly to saudi arabia in under 12 hours, the haj (pilgrimage) was an actual journey the faithful took by foot across the desert till they got to makkah. ironically hundreds of nigerians today are performing a different pilgrimage [on foot] to the shores of libya with the hope of crossing over into greece/italy. so a haj on foot to makkah is actually doable

so i dont know what the governor is going on about.

Re: Nigerian Pilgrims Starving In Saudi Arabia - Governor Bago by eteba(m): 12:38pm On Jun 24
Nigeria's Christian and Muslim pilgrimage is a complete waste of resources and a huge misplaced priority.

Religion has done Nigeria as a country extreme harm than good.

We as a people play religious politics at the expense of insecurity, poor governance, hunger, disease, etc.

Nigeria is undoing herself, it's all our fault.
