My camry 2003 (big daddy) reverse gear not working. No movement when I engaged it and the d mode will delay for some seconds before movement and after going some distance enters limp mode where the car cannot go more than 30km per hour

Can it be repaired? If yes, can it serve well
a "new" tokunbo gearbox is so expensive and there's even no guarantee of satisfactory performance. The gearbox is 10 pin

Best solution is to buy another from a very much trusted source... repairing gear is 95% of the time a waste of money. Better to save up for the gear
