Ned Nwoko's Anioma State in Southeast, a Self-Motivated Interest By Chris Obanya

Anioma people with brains on their heads, read this letter with better understanding. According to Diokpa Ned, the benefits of Anioma state includes three senators instead of one, more representatives in the House, additional seats in our State Assembly, more commissioners, more government officials etc. Technically this man is saying that the benefits of Anioma state is further proliferation of politicians and increased cost of governance! This rather empty and self serving letter has failed to state clearly what the economic and social benefits of Anioma state will be to the ordinary Anioma people. What will happen happen to the 13% oil revenue derivative we are currently benefiting as Deltans? What will happen to the Delta state student bursary and Desopadec bursary that our students are currently enjoying as Deltans? He’s saying the question of joining the south east is secondary, really? Do you know how disastrous it would be for our future as a people to be yoked in unholy matrimony with the south east?

There are better things this man can be pushing for in the senate house that would be more beneficial to us than this futile chase he’s on. He can push for local government autonomy which would allow inec organize local government elections instead of the usual sham organized by DSIEC. Instead he passionately wants Anioma state so that he can become governor, litter Anioma land with politicians and join us with the South East and they can come and turn Asaba into another South Eastern city to make mess of. You will fail woefully! What has been Ned’s score card since he became senator? What has he done for Anioma land? No worry, 2027 no far again. I trust Ika and Ndokwa people to fiercely resist this nonsense.

Shut the Bleep up. Wether they join South East or not is not the issue, the main thing is that they are fit and ready to be called a state. They deserve it.

I have always said that ned is just a waste pipe. You want to join us with south east so they can bring their ipob and ean madness to anioma land. I have always known its all about personal interest to be the governor of the state. It will never work. Even if we want anioma state it can never be part of south east. God forbid calamity
