Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State emphasized that his administration is not driven by party affiliation but by a revolutionary commitment to truth. He made this statement while welcoming the Senate Committee on Privatization and Commercialization, headed by Chairman Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The governor also stated that he will not be distracted by any calculated blackmail or sabotage against his administration.

He mentioned that, even though he is the most criticized governor in the entire country, he has chosen to tolerate such insults to stay focused on delivering benefits to the people of the state. He pointed out that those trying to cause trouble in the state will not succeed.

Fubara said, "In our state today, we're not focusing on party politics anymore. We're part of a movement, so don't blame me if I don't stick closely to party lines.

The party has let us down here, so we are firmly standing on the soil of Rivers State to defend democracy.
