Meituan In China And Our Startup Program by Lynnn: 9:34am On Jun 27
Hi everyone, I'm Lynn and I come from China. I am currently conducting market research for a startup company developing no-code technology. We plan to replicate the online-to-offline (O2O) model that has been flourishing in China since around 2010 in Africa.

Meituan is a typical example of the O2O model in China, and anyone familiar with China knows that Meituan focuses on local life services, such as food delivery and hotel bookings. Its O2O model primarily includes location-based services and local promotions. In the early stages of Meituan's development, there was an intense business competition known as the "Hundred Regiments Offensive" (named after a famous battle in China's anti-Japanese war during WWII, emphasizing the ferocity of commercial competition). Meituan broke through the competition with the user growth brought about by local promotions. Our experience is that early participants in the O2O revolution stand to gain substantial rewards.

Regarding our startup project, we believe that Africa holds similar potential for an O2O revolution. With over a decade of experience, we are confident in our ability to develop the O2O market in Africa. With no-code technology, we can mass-produce applications. Combined with local promotions, we can simultaneously operate in 10-20 verticals and deploy 3-5 CEOs. This background necessitates our high standards for talent.

We especially need High Energy Individuals. This concept can be placed in the context of the interpretation of capitalism. We believe that the core of capitalism is to support High Energy Individuals to make changes. Further discussing the relationship between capitalism and class solidification, some young people from lower classes may feel they are born into an unfair environment while ignoring the upper class's attempts to instill fear and numb the population. Effort does not guarantee success, but lack of effort guarantees failure. History and High Energy Individuals achieve mutual success. The forum's discussions on geopolitics demonstrate everyone's sense of responsibility and ambition. This is not only about nationalism but also about the spirit of global citizenship. We believe that enough High Energy Individuals will emerge here.

Considering your possible cautious attitude, I will continue to share project updates and hot topics from China in this post, looking forward to establishing a trustful connection with everyone.

Bringing the O2O model to Africa with no-code tech sounds promising.
