Have you ever seen any bad side or fault from Peter Obi?

Brendaniel:

Where they sleeping when those shops and houses were being built?

Shebi you guys claim Tinubu built Lagos and from 1999 till date everything has been his blueprint with all the successive governments?

So his blue print could not for prevent all the demolitions taking place these days?

Did all the houses there just fall from the sky?

The problem I have with you guys is how you carry all the efforts of others and praise Tinubu for it but refuse to put the bad sides for him including his own bad sides, the blame will be channeled to other people...

Same way you guys are blaming Nigerians today for Tinubu's governance....

If that is your excuse, then you are saying government has failed.

People can't be whistle blowers because the government has a town planning ministry which is responsible for ensuring that people don't put up structures just anywhere.

Except you just fell from the sky, have you not seen building with instructions painted in red asking for work to stop?

Have you not seen government papers pasted on new building aites asking for building approvals?

Maybe u are not aware that there is a tier of government called local government? Pls what is their job?

It is common sense to know when you are warned not to commit a crime and you still go ahead just face the consequences with no excuses.

Everyone knows govt officer most times put stop work signs 🚫 on most of the illegal buildings but the owners still go ahead.

There are many buildings with this signs all over lagos but we rather blame govt for our own foolish actions.

When this buildings go down govt loses absolutely nothing just letting people like you who refuse to use common sense but rather blame govt......nah your money go waste if you like cry from now till eternity.

They should be in every street, house ,rooms....lol

The man specifically said it out loud they can't be everywhere people should be whistle-blowers.

Some of you just spill outright rubbish

Because people use only 1 day to build their houses in Lagos just like Tinubu built Lagos during 2023 election?

I didn't know how bad Lekki was until I went out on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The road was flooded,it started from Chevron and ended at Lekki phase one,no movement for almost 7 hours.
God bless the Commissioner for Environment for tackling the menace of flooding in the state but it's time to take some hard decisions.
The Bus stop at Chisco and Ikate are part of the major problem on the road.
The street beside house on the rock Church must be demolished and expanded to build a bigger road and wider drainage.
Those roads are always flooded even when it doesn't rain, the Commissioner for works and Environment must stop the window dressing at Agungi and demolish those houses in those areas to build wider roads and drainage which will feed the collector drain at Agungi.
We also appeal to Mr Governor to quickly finish the road from Freedom way to VGC,that project has been on for more than 2 years.
I also believe the Government must as a matter of urgency, construct an inner road within streets from Chevron to Lekki, and estate on the right of way should be demolished, enough of the shenanigans from those gated estates that won't allow passage to cars who want to avoid the traffic on the
Express way.
Finally Mr Governor,it's time to reconstruct the Lekki-Ajah Expressway, the road needs to be a concrete road like what is been done on the Ajah to Epe axis.
If the toll gate has to be reintroduced for funds to be raised to build the rebuild the road I'm totally for it,the suffering of the last 2 days was unbearable for a lot of residents in that Axis.
I appreciate the wonderful work being done on the Ajah to Eleko axis and also what was done by Governor Ambode from Eleko to Epe but it needs to be extended from Ajah to Lekki.
God bless Lagos state
God bless Nigeria.....

Nigerians are not wise, am 100% in support of toll collection in the Lekki/VI road provided the company keeps mainterning the road, just this year alone, I replaced 3 tyres due to damages from bad pot holes which costed me close to 50k, am sure most road users on that stretch must have similar experience.

The problem of Lagos is not far fetched from flooding to lack of good roads and criminality all balls down to the size of her population. Lagos state needs serious depopulation. how can the smallest state in the country have the highest population (over 21mllion) and you want the state to work well.

You are still repeating the same thing which is another way if saying that government has failed and you have failed to answer my question.

Maybe u are not aware that there is a tier of government called local government? Pls what is their job?

What is the job of government in terms of enforcing building plans?

How long should it take fir the government to enforce building plans?

Should it be immediate or should it wait until after the building has been completed?

The various illegal structures which brendaniel asked if they fell from the sky, how did they litter the whole place without anyone seeing them?

Which is cheaper for government and better for the environment? Is it to wait for the illegal structures to be concluded or to stop the buildings from being erected in the first place?

Abia n Anambra as also withnessed demolish by state governor so according to your foolish n senseless Igbo analogy they have failed. Beside I tot clowns like you claim Obi transform Anambra to Utopia so why demolition again ?

Or governor only failed when demolition happens on Lagos n not in any Igbo state.
