JAMO84: The north is in charge of Ilorin. The north is not in control of any Igbo territories, so Yorubas are the real slaves of the north. Peter Obi won the last election in spite of the gangup against him by elements in the SW and the north. Peter Obi will still win the 2027 elections, especially as Tinubu's hold up north would have weakened by then, making it very difficult for him to rig. Igbos will never ever vote for Tinubu Igbos will also never ever vote for a NWner or NEner |

kingbee90:My post was for the benefit of Igbos, not Yoruba or Tinubu. Even if Tinubu lost in 2027, we can always find our way back to ASO Rock. You on the other hand have no path to the Presidency without the SW, the best you can get is VP, which is a glorified extra Tyre. Even the President's chief of staff has more power than VP. 1 Like |

DEROX: I wonder why people care so much about who becomes president instead of what the person has to offer. Please tell me specifically how did Obasanjo's 8 years benefit the South West. How did Osinbajo"s vice presidency benefit the region? And please don't talk about appointments because except you have political connections, you cannot get one. I repeat, southern unity is ideal but we must approach it with civility and not blackmail and gaslighting. |

JAMO84: What do the ordinary Igbo man care about who becomes the president. If a competent person assumes office, igbos benefit more. We enjoyed Obasanjo's 8 years in office more than you people from the south west and that was why we rejected ojukwu in 2003 in favor of Baba Iyabo 2 Likes |

OfoIgbo: This is a rant. Personally, I am Igbo and I am currently impressed with Asiwaju 's leadership so far, even though I didn't vote for him because of his health condition as I then thought. |

Nigerianization:Ojukwu had no chance in hell, even if you gave him 100% of your votes. You all knew voting Ojukwu will make Obasanjo lose and Olu Falae to win, it was all part of the game. If Ojukwu was a strong contender like Obi, you would have voted for him. Do you know Ojukwu contested for Senate in 1983 and lost to another Igbo man? Ojukwu was a political paper weight even at home, until he managed to install Peter Obi with the help of the Courts. Meanwhile, what did you enjoy from Obj Presidency, order than he opened the borders and allow you to import fake Chinese products and kill our economy? 1 Like |

JAMO84: Now that you have mentioned what we enjoyed under OBJ, tell us what your region enjoyed under the same OBJ as president and Osinbajo as vice president. It's still too early to assess asiwaju, so let's leave his for now. |

You guys are pathetically politically bereft. How many se states did tinubu visit when he wascampaigning? Only one - and it was just to fulfil righteousness. And What does that tell u? As una nor send am, na so he himself nor send una times 10. You can't expect a 'gift' from he who lacks it. He already knows that he has no leverage in alaigbo and he has accepted his fate, so all these ones u are yarning now, I wonder from where it's coming from. Se didn't give him their votes in 2023 yet he won, so why are u now deceiving urself that 'yorubas need southern unity'? ![]() dominic17:--------------------------------------------------------- He write letter to u say he need se votes in d first place or u just want to feel urself? ![]() kingsways: 1 Like 1 Share |

JAMO84: With the level of hate and bigotry in them I doubt northerners will take that risk - if anything 'happens' to the president na vp go move up, and I doubt they'll want to take that risk. At worst the north will rather go for a ss vp from a a non-toxic and malleable part of ss. An igboman will NEVER relinquish power the way GEJ did! Igbo should bury their hatchet and queue behind Tinubu, if Atiku can contest after Buhari's 8 years, Obi can contest and win after Tinubu's 8 years. Ass licking the north will never favor the South East. They know it won't favor them but they had rather play spoiler than allow their 'enemy'win 1 Like |

You guys are funny. What would have changed if Tinubu visited all the local govt in alaigbo one after the other? Will that make Igbós cast their votes for him?? Even if obi had not contested, the average bileful southeastern had rather waste his vote for ndi-hausa than vote Tinubu. Make una rest bikonu, jagaban didn't need ur votes in 2023 so how will he now be begging the same ppl as an incubent president? ...and d man below u has just echoed my point. Nor be ndigbos again? JAMO84: Very dumb advice so u expect the north to just sit idle and be waiting for tinibu and obi's presidency for a whole 16yrs? The east has absolutely nothing to gain in supporting tinibu for another 4yrs tinibu himself doesn't even have that type of liver to leave a northerner to support an igbo man after finishing his 8yrs. |

richie240: Where did I write in that post, that Igbos will not vote for Yorubas? Didn't Igbos vote for Yorubas in the past? Obasanjo was voted for massively by Igbos, and as of today, he is clearly the most successful Yoruba president. Igbos know their political onions. The only Yoruba Igbos voted for, turned out to be the most successful Yoruba president. Igbos did not vote for Tinubu for a number of reasons, one of which is causing starvation all over Nigeria. So you want Igbos to vote in a disaster for a second term, whose certificate forgeries, drug dealings and incompetences are in the open for all to see, just because you want Igbos to vote for Yorubas. To make matters worse, he is leading one of the most anti-Igbo administrations, and you see this as a basis for Igbos to support him, when his minions in the person of Asari, Omokri, Onanuga, FFK are daily dishing out hate propaganda against the Igbos, and you think a true born Igbo will support such people? Let me repeat it for the umpteenth time that Igbos will never vote for Tinubu in 2027 |

DEROX:this is the more reason the west should be more ashamed of themselves, because like you said 8years president, 8years vice president another 4years president running yet the region is still like every other region. The average Yoruba man in the streets can not still live a better comfortable life than the man from the other region What is the usefulness of the presidency to a particular region if it can not change the region and the life of the common man on the street in that region for good All we want is a better Nigeria not minding where the president will come from. |
