Russia has un-manned nuclear subs that dive deeper and can remain submerged for years without needing to visit any harbour.

Code named : Poseidon, this vessel carries nuclear missiles that can be launched without surfacing and if need be, can be deployed as a suicide drone along enemy coastal waters to create a tsunami wave of radioactive water that can submerge New York.

It's greatest advantages are that it can dive deeper, thus making it impossible to detect and being autonomous ,does not require harbour visits for supplies that are needed to sustain a manned sub. Being nuclear powered , it can remain for years without need for refueling.

Now that's a game changer.

The US took to the skies and that's why they have aircraft carriers and stealth fighters. The Russians invested in unmanned nuclear submarines because they know that it presents an element of surprise as it lurks deep in the ocean's abyss where it can deploy nuclear strikes at a push of a line command key.
