Members of the Political Science Department of the University of ilorin have rained encomiums on the speaker of the Department's Students Representatives Council, Rt. Hon. Iyiola Adewale OlokoOba, widely known as Articulate, on his birthday.

Articulate who celebrated his birthday on Friday June, 28, 2024, was praised for his contributions to the growth of the Department and the stability of Democratic processes in the Department's activities.

The Deputy Clerk of the Department's Students' Representative Council, Hon. Afolayan Abass Olamilekan (Pluto), in a statement, disclosed that the celebrant has committed his wherewithal to the growth and development of the department.

"His commitment to accountability has ensured responsible governance, and his door has always been open to listen to students' concerns. His selflessness, wisdom, and charisma have earned him the respect and admiration of the entire student body" he said.

He further described the speaker as a visionary leader, a man of accountability, and probity whose selfless services to the people and the Department have earned him widespread popularity among his peers.

"As we celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge his tireless efforts in promoting academic excellence, social justice, and student empowerment. We appreciate his unwavering support and guidance, which have made our department a beacon of hope and progress"

Similarly, the executive body of the Department was not left out in the salutations of the speaker's unwavering efforts in protecting the integrity of the Department.

Celebrating his struggles towards a better NAPSS, Lakeside, the Department's Public Relations Officer, in a few words, stated that "Your struggles and unwavering commitment are significant to the continuous growth and development of our association. Words are not enough to appreciate your efforts in ensuring a better and bigger NAPSS UNILORIN, and we simply use this auspicious moment to say Thank You"
