A frontline chairmanship hopeful from Ibesikpo Asutan LGA and the senior pastor of The Royal ground bible church, Rev. Amb. Nsidibeabasi Eyoh has applauded the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno for his commitment to adhering strictly to zoning in the forthcoming local government council polls.

It could be recalled that Recently In a stakeholders meeting held at the A'Ibom state Government House in Uyo, The State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who is the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, advised the party stakeholders at all levels to adhere strictly to the principles of zoning.

Reacting to the development, Rev. Amb. Eyoh has lauded the state governor for advocating for equity, fairness and justice by insisting on zoning as the party congresses and local government council polls draws nearer and closer.

Eyoh who Hails from Ibesikpo Ward 4, a ward historically marginalized in terms of political inclusivity and where the Chairmanship is being zoned to, emphasized the significance of upholding equity and justice within the party, particularly concerning the chairmanship position in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.

"Looking forward to the upcoming congresses and local government election, Governor Umo Eno's dedication to upholding zoning to promote equity, justice and fair play sets a commendable precedent.

Acknowledging Governor Umo Eno's efforts in fostering peace and development in the state, Rev. Eyoh commended the governor for his numerous achievements through various projects, healthcare initiatives, Educational advancement, and human capacity based empowerment programs, etc.

Eyoh reiterated his commitment to emulate Governor Umo Eno's exemplary and exceptional leadership style at the grassroots level if he emerges the council chairman for Ibesikpo Asutan; while urging all to give maximum co-operation and support to the ARISE agenda.

As the state prepares for the forthcoming political activities, Governor Eno's focus on women's leadership participation and the allocation of reserved positions for women across senatorial districts and local government areas reflects a forward-thinking approach to inclusive governance.
