At last. The Calabar section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is about to commence.

To speed up the full construction so as to finish in record time ahead of the 8 years originally planned, another road construction segment would have to be opened in Bayelsa or Delta States.

Kudos to all those who are working on this massive infrastructural project and it is hoped that more NNPC CNG refill stations would be built in more regions of Nigeria as promised just like NNPC has done in Lagos State on May 30, 2024... Where CNG is being sold cheaply at N200 per standard cubic feet to happy car and truck drivers. This mass CNG deployment would lower the cost of transportation of good, people and food items.

You lack understanding. It's unfortunate that we have many young people who don't think. That road has significant economic benefits, as it opens up numerous areas along its route, leading to opportunities in real estate, agriculture, tourism, and more. Consider this before you comment.

Can you at least face the topic and explain why stakeholder engagement is coming after the award and after commencement of construction.

This is just one question. I have not asked about the bypassing of procurement processes. I have not asked for the Environmental Impact Assessment. I have not asked for the feasibility report through the swamps and creeks. I have not asked for the prioritization in the presence of other routes.

Don't worry about all these other questions for now. Address the first one, the subject of this thread first.

Is there not something wrong with us as a people. We see gibberish and defend it because of absurd sentiments.

As it stands, electricity generation and distribution have been privatised and even states have the right to generate and distribute or attract investment for such

Nigeria is gone. No President has dared take this kind of unanimous decision to build a very expensive road without budget, bidding and consultations. They only started consultation after commencement and many people still see it as normal

Don't mind those guys. What has Obi done for Otti in Abia upon all the noise he made about Egypt, China and Dubai. They are all arm - chair critics. Let their charity begin in Abia and let's see how good Obi and Otti are Nah mouth Dem go use turn Abia to Dubai. They are still struggling with ordinary Abia after one year but claimed they could transform the whole Nigeria during elections. Nah mouth Dem dey take turn Abia to Dubai ?

Sorry ...is Peter Obi going to use his money to transform Abia State or has he become the President of Abia State!.

So the fact that you no longer use Abia State to devalue and call South East,a dumping ground for refuge is not enough reason for you to key into a transparent government of LP in government ....

Exactly what I expected you to say. If you were attentive during the commisioning of that project, you would have heard Barth Nnaji mentioned that Otti assisted them in funding when he was still in Diamond back. Fortunately and coincidentally, the commissioning took place when he became governor.

Otti has always been visionary before even becoming a governor.

By the way, what brought about Obi your nightmare in this discussion.

With the high cost fuel , how many cars are plying our roads.
The project truly is a misplaced priority.
People are hungry, they should've gone into mechanized farming, build industries and increase our power generation.

U stay in your hut in ogbomosho and say what you have the slightest idea about.

Go to Aba and verify. The areas that have been metered in Aba are enjoying 24hrs power supply.

My family house is in world bank and sometimes we have to switch off our fridge for two days to bring out things we need because of constant supply of power.

As regards to Otti, read the rubbish you wrote again to know how you have been carrying brain that is below your age around .

Even OTTI will not add this rubbish to his government achievement,it can only be done by you his overhypers. The shouting of otti name even overshadowed NNAJI that owns the project

If electricity is totally fixed can u pay as high as 100k per month 😳

Or don't u know stable electricity means more money to pay?

Just like if u are using prepaid and buying unit meaning u can finish 5k per day since light is 100% available 🤔

Later u go complain say unit high or bill high don't u know that's d consequences??

How road take be waste of resources?

The bridges and good roads highways in Nigeria of today don't u know is some past administrations that built them??

What Abt if they didn't do it ,??

Where are u going to be using to drive ur car or travelling from one state to another 🤔..

.you get sense at all??
