A female suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) at a wedding venue in Gwoza town, Borno State, killing numerous wedding guests and injuring several others. According to a survivor, the woman bomber carried a baby on her back when she entered the venue and triggered the explosion. The wedding had taken place at Tashan Mararaba near the Fire Service in Gwoza town, News360 Nigeria gathered As of now, the exact number of fatalities is yet to be confirmed, but many of the injured have been admitted to Gwoza General Hospital for treatment.
